Felling the goblin in front of him Tristan advances, kneeing the floundering corpse out of the way to take its space. Twisting at the hips he rounds on the next one, slashing it across the throat, covering the void left by his sword with his shield. As much as this goblin is a necessary adversary, he has his eyes on the mounted leader behind it, itching for a chance at it.

Dice Goblin 2 Attack:
Dice Goblin 3 Attack:
The goblin warriors turn to face the party. They attack Tristan and Hasim to avenge their fallen brethren. Tristan easily blocks the blow with his shield before cutting open the creature's chest. It collapses quickly. The second goblin fails to penetrate Hasim's armor. Azrael and Utana go! Tristan, you were near the bottom of the initiative order, but I didn't really want to waste the crit threat, and the goblin missed so the action wasn't going to change.

The crossbow bolt and lead bullet pierce the armor of the lead goblin. It falls backwards off the saddle of it's hairless mount. With no rider to control it, the beast turns and runs away from the battle. The last goblin throws down it's sword and begs for mercy.
"I'm give up. I no fight no more."

Tristan dashes forward and kicks the ugly goblin excuse for a sword out of its reach and then maneuvers the tip of his sword just under the goblin's chin. "Someone tie him up." Tristan suggests. "And you, anklebiter, you so much as twitch, you die."

Fearfully, the goblin never takes its eyes off Tristan's sword. Taking the warrior's threat seriously, it begins repeatedly muttering "Stay still" under its breath.
"Allow me to assist." From behind the overturned cart, a human dressed in fine silk clothing emerges. His brown hair is a chaotic mess, though you suspect it had been pristinely combed earlier in the day. He holds up a good length of rope, "This was in the cart. Given the situation, I don't think the owners would mind if we borrowed it." He approaches the goblin carefully. Even when Tristan assures him that it is safe to approach, you can all see his hands shaking while he restrains the little creature. "I must say, I thought I was about to be those goblins' next meal until you all showed up. I'm always amazed the kind of people who can just jump headlong into danger without a care in the world, especially when that person is a lovely young lady who belongs in the courts of Magnimar not out here in this little bit of nowhere." He looks directly at Utana as he says this last part. With a smile and a bow, he introduces himself. "Aldern Foxglove, at your service, my lady."
