Tristan lowers the point of his sword as the goblin is being bound, though he does so in a slow manner, the reluctance overt. He struggles with his hatred for the goblins as an ilk. He recognizes they're intelligent (using the word in its more loose context) creatures, and so it is hard to fully accept that they should be culled indiscriminately like a herd of infected cattle... but knowing it and feeling it are two different things. The internal struggle tunes out most of the side chatter, especially the man they saved making suave moves. He'd prefer to just kill it on principle, but he struggles, knowing it isn't the right thing to do. Especially when Azrael suggests they interrogate it.
This brings him back to reality, so to speak. Speaking of the right thing, getting intel out of this goblin instead of making assumptions based on what may, or may not, be present at the city gate is wise. Tristan doesn't want to be wise, the dump of the last fight's adrenaline still swirling in his brain and urging him to fight, fight, fight. He wants to continue to press on, take action, find opponents, solve problems. He takes a deep breath to try to clear the irrational drive, reign himself in and accept the other team members have legitimate input, especially when it's better than his idea. "Yeah." He concedes, "See what it knows." He might have reigned in his rationality, but the nothing will rid his voice of the contempt.

Those of you who are wounded can feel your bodies put themselves back together. Even those who are not can feel some relief in sore muscles and other aches.
Aldern quickly replies to Utana "Never fear, my dear. You need not worry about being a stranger in Magnimar. We are very welcoming to outsiders, certainly more so than the brutes you may have met north in Korvosa. You should accompany me when I return to the city in a few days." He suddenly seems to remember that there are other people present. "And great thanks to the rest of you, as well. I do feel that a reward is in order." Aldern thinks for a moment, then his face lights up. {b]"I know! We shall have a hunt! If you would do me the honor of joining me at the Dragon before I leave, we shall stalk the woods in ceremony for whatever the gods place before us."[/b] Meanwhile, the goblin puts up no fight as the rope bonds are placed upon it. [ooc]Who is going to interrogate the goblin, and who is going to check out the gate?[/ooc]

Tristan stands by, keeping a steely and scowling eye on the goblin as Hasim interrogates it. He doesn't want to get in the way of the questioning, as it's not his forte, but he's not going to leave Hasim undefended.

The goblin blinks in surprise at the question. "We attack because big boss say to attack," it says as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Ripnugget is warchief. Ripnugget is best warchief." The goblin says this with pride in its voice.

"I don't know nothing 'bout any payment. Warchief say attack, so we attack," the captured goblin replies.

The second Hasim asks about finding the leader, the goblin seems to realize that he's said too much because he immediately shuts up, refusing to answer the question with a frenzied shake of his head.

"Looks like this conversation is over." Tristan gruffs, still eager to move along even though they did (he concedes) get some valuable information out of the creature. "Aldern, are you comfortable dragging a bound and gagged goblin to a guard that can get him locked up? We aren't going to find this chieftain standing around here with this one." He gestures to the one they were interrogating with his sword.
