I need some clarification:

Wind is chilling by the gate. Cheveyo passed him and headed up to the first set of dunes dunes to chat with Taharaquakatakataka, The Asherati. (Sorry don't remember how to spell the name.)

So are we assuming that LATER in the day, when the caravan arrives, Kethyr shows up before we leave and Emeria simply catches up?

I wasn't really trying to decide which order Kethyr arrived in. Hence the wording "Looks like I'm one of the last ones to arrive." I figured that Kethyr and Ama would ride around for a bit until it was time to meet. Kethyr would have come from the dunes.
Not sure if this helps clear things up.

Well it was a hell of a day...but we managed to get the Rudge and the 1930 AJS up and running and back to their owners on time afterall. Toast soon, just replying to the games that take less work!

I vote to continue forward to the town. Mainly because Kethyr won't get much time to talk to his fellows as long as Ama is out. >_O

Fighting with my (lack of) artistic ability, RPGmaker and Photoshop at the moment to make the first map of the game. Post will be up before I go to bed tonight!

The invaders are coming from the left of the map, sorry for not making that clear.

Wind can fly out to the raiders, and start harrying them with perhaps 100ft to spare, and yes the sandskimmers have sails.

Lighting is a fairly full and unobstructed moon, hence you only need torchlight if you wanted to see a greater distance. (I'm usually pretty lax on the lighting rules, unless its of great importance).

Oh and you can assume your Lynx picked up their scent and started circling back towards town immediately after that. You can have him appear from behind the raiders, harrying them with you, or at the entrance to town. Up to you.

If you'd like, you can have Taharakarakaraka wait near the front with Cheveyo. Cheveyo would more than likely not know what you're talking about, but probably go for the Power spell. You could cast it on him a minute or more before they arrive.
