I saw Aliens four times in the theater when it came out. This universe and setting have always appealed to me.
I haven't played the system before so I need to check that out.

Got to say I will always prefer Alien to the others, though obviously Aliens comes a close second. The original film is just so great, like a haunted house in space, the Xenomorph is a complete Outside Context Problem, it's almost Cosmic Horror.

Application: Rukia Strelchenko, Officer A little bit about yourself and what draws you to the world of Alien I've been playing table-top, PC and LARP RPGs for over 40 years. My favorite genre is sci-fi. I didn't see Alien when it came out for various reasons, but I managed to see Aliens so many times that I still look up when I enter a parking garage. It's a movie that I can't possibly see too many times. I've watched other Alien films and played PC games. What I think draws me to it the most is the relentlessness of the enemy whether there's one of them or a horde. They just keep finding a way to keep on coming... Which role you’re applying to Officer Name, gender, age, birth place Rukia Strelchenko, Female, 29, 17 Phei Phei E Backstory and a character portrait The portfolio of conflicts comprising Rukia Strelchenko's persona would make a psychology graduate student's day. Born on a hunk of rock in a barely airtight hab-structure where thirst and hunger were everyone's constant companions survival is a core motivation. However, co-operation and co-dependence were keys to survival so it's not just her personal survival, but that of her community. However, competition for scarce resources ultimately drove her to leave her birthplace by capitalizing on her core strengths - intelligence and empathy. This led her through online college classes and to service in the merchant fleets to ensure her personal survival. No matter what kind of rust-bucket rock or ice hauler she might serve on it was more airtight than home. However, that same intelligence and empathy set her apart from the rest of the crew and opened opportunities for officer training and command. However, her lack of contacts and sponsorship kept her relegated to a supporting role in the navy hierarchies. If she were to reflect on this she might see the irony. Most likely she'd just say "Whatever", pat her full belly, and take another sip of water. Born on an over-populated, under-fed colony in the Outer Rim.

Gaius Breckenridge Myself: I love the Alien universe, it's just so compelling. I've been playing TTRPGs for I'd guess 8 years now, mostly D&D but I've branched out several times, even played an Alien one-shot a number of years back. Role: Company Agent Character: Name: Gaius Breckenridge Gender: Male Age: 32 Birth place: (Unsure how I would know the different places to be born in Alien) Backstory: WIP. Gaius is a company man through and through. He believes in Weyland-Yutani and their work. It isn't just a job to him, it's a calling, and everything else comes second. I expect he saw some W-Y infrastructure project in his youth that greatly benefited his family (likely at a cost to plenty of others that Gaius never knew about). It's entirely possible that, having been in the company for a good few years now, he's seen a little more of the dirty underbelly of W-Y than he is comfortable with, and is struggling with balancing that against the good he knows the company has done.

Application - Harper Durand Myself: I'm a librarian who has only been playing TTRPGs since 2021, but I fell hard for them. I used to do old-school PBP roleplaying on really old forums and message boards in the early days of AOL. Been a huge fan of Alien since my mom let me watch it as a kid, which, in hindsight might not have been the best idea as it gave me nightmares for weeks. Even despite the nightmares I couldn't help but love the universe and love badass Ripley. My favorite genre is also sci-fi but specifically sci-fi horror, and Alien is the epitome of that genre. Role: Captain Character Name: Harper Durand Gender: Female Age: 33 Birthplace: Aerodyne Backstory: Harper was born to a no-nonsense single mother on the colony planet of Aerodyne. From a young age, she lived a hardscrabble existence with her mother taking various dead-end jobs to pay the bills. Looking for a way to escape the cycle of poverty and neglect, Harper joined up with the Colonial Marines when she came of age. After a skirmish with space pirates left her with a permanent limp, she was honorably discharged and took up the life of a space trucker, appreciating the life of a nomad that it provided her. Having always been rather taciturn and not one to make friends easily, the lifestyle suits her.

I'm definitely interested in joining this game. I never saw Alien in the theater but I have seen all the movies. I don't have access to my books until next weekend. On vacation till then. I would be interested in playing the cargo handler

If there is enough interest, I would consider running a new game from the start with a fresh group. I would need at least 5 players total for a new game. This would run alongside the current one.


Spoke too soon it's among the hundreds of fully deleted ch apps. Long gone. Ohh well then.


I still have a copy of my ch app that was rejected I can drop in for a fresh new game only.
