I count 500 words on mine.

I wrote an outline for what I wanted to put in it before typing and came up with 150 words. That's when I first realized I was going to need to cut some stuff out For a real game, I'd probably have another paragraph or two but I'm happy with what I have for this situation.

I just finished mine and I am 70 over the word limit. This is truly the hardest part. Editing out which jokes need to go.

That said I do look forward to reading the spread here. I've never been a part of a RPGX competition before-- it's my first time! I usually miss it due to conflicting schedules and what not, so I am eager to play a part for however long I last.

I love the writing competitions and participate when I can. This one is easier to fit into the schedule than NeverSleep Outplay since it only requires one post a week instead of five. Historically I have not done well in IronDM. I'm usually ejected in round 1, or frankly, round 0. Maybe I'll do better in the newer format.

So I decided on a whim to write something for round 0. I spend the afternoon writing my round 0. I get to a good spot to stop, basically after the TPK and right before the actually campaign set up.

I decide to go back to re-read the rules to make sure I hit all the important bits and didn't miss any important rules. My eyes widen in horror as I read the 500 word limit. I know I am currently over that but I can't be that much over I have to edit some stuff out.

I go to check my word count Its over 12 hundred words. Good grief. I am going to have to mega edit it down. lol

Whimsical overshoots are most welcome. Just decrease your font size, set your margins to .5 inches, and do 1.15 space. Just kidding -- that will not work! Good luck with your judicious trimming. Looking forward to seeing what you wrote.

Yep... I fixed that for you. No spoiler tags inside secret text so I fliped it for you.

I went in and removed the apostrophe from your spoiler button title. Apostrophes often play havoc with those buttons functioning.
