I just did some reading back of last year's round 1 and while I didn't see anything about the text ON spoilerbuttons there were some very discouraging remarks from several judges on having spoilerbuttons in the first place. It seems judges would like to see the text without having to click buttons (fair enough).

In case anyone wants to write all text ON spoilerbuttons hiding nothing much, from some quick testing it seems that you can stuff a lot of text on one button but it doesn't get wrapped so it messes up the page layout.

I'm not sure why you'd want to write a bunch of text on a spoilerbutton tag in the first place, though. Is it just to make it look like a button or a shaded in cell? If that's the case, I would recommend using a Table with either a 'css=padded' or a 'head' attribute, just bear in mind that the latter requires more than one line, but you can make it mostly invisible by just putting a couple {colsp} tags in.

Here's just a table with the 'css=padded' attribute (which is a header-only attribute, not an inline one) and one {colsp} tag:

And for good measure, there's also the {css=emph} attribute (which is an in-line only attribute) for good measure:

(FYI, the 'emph' border only comes in purple. There is no pink. I have tried.)

Here's a silly question that probably doesn't matter to anyone else, but:

I know that the rules of the contest say no images or links in contest entries, but does the same also apply to our check-in post? I was assuming that nothing in the check-in post would be considered for scoring, but I also don't want to end up getting myself disqualified for any silly RP stuff that I include in there interacting with the invigilator or the other contestants.

When I made my round 0 post I included a summary to point out how my ingredients were used. If I uncluded that in this round would it count against the word limit?

@jbear -- I think Savoylen answered the room question here. If not, please let us know, but my inclination is to allow ambiguities to be ambiguities and allow the judges to decide how well any competitor made the case for their interpretation. Since you have a bye this round (unless someone in your group drops), this might be the time to push the envelope on any interpretation.

Yes, the ingredient table explanation would count toward the total word count.
There is no off-count OOC in Iron DM!

Secret Text and spoiler button your posts.
Obviously, one contestant has to post first. Ensure that a submitted post is hidden with a secret tab. Directing the secret text to "Savoylen" is sufficient, as all judges can read secret text.

Lets just put "savoylen" on the secret tag. I'll release the post for all judges at the same time.
