Flavour Lost in an unknown world full of danger.

Plot Summary You awaken to find yourself lying on a grassy hill at the edge of a forest. After taking stock of yourself you realize there are five other people with you, do you know them? You’re not sure as your memories are a bit fuzzy. After standing in the distance, you can see a dirt path or road. The sun is shining and although you’re not sure of the exact time you know it is morning. While looking around a small semi-transparent blue window pops up in front of you with a small chime. It reads ‘Welcome to the world of Chroma. Saying status will open your status menu to show all of your stats, skills, and abilities.’ After you finish reading it the window vanishes. Now is the time to decide on what to do, at least for now. You have been transferred to another world, at first you don’t remember what is going on but soon it hits you like a ton of bricks, and you remember everything.

Characters and mechanics You were brought here through various means: 1) You were forced, summoned through a magic circle. (Choose two extra skills or one feat) 2) You ‘reincarnated’ after having died (Choose any race, age will be adult which is 16) 3) A portal opened in your room, and you chose to step through. (Choose 3 items to bring with you that were close at hand) Unless you choose option 2 your race is human (not variant) You start with no class, and at level 0. Choose 4 classes you would like and during the game your actions will cause you to become one of those classes. Classes allowed- any official, just let me know where it’s from same with specializations. UA materials will be allowed on a case-by-case basis, and I reserve the right to change them as the game goes on. Hp- Starting is 10 no con, after leveling it will be max plus con mod. Stats- will be 14, 12, 12, 12, 10, 8. Once you gain a class it will come with stat increases. Backgrounds- You don’t have one. Items- you start with only cloths fitting your race (I.e Terrans will have modern cloths, other races will have medieval make cloths) Unless you chose option 3. Number of players I seek: 6 Posting rate: I will post 1 or 2 times a week, if the players post more I will increase my post rate as much as I can but I can guarantee 1 or two a week.

Q and A   Is this going to be a sandbox game? Yes, it will be a sandbox for the most part. I will put out plots hooks and the world will adjust to what the players do. Want to try and create a kingdom, be ready for war. want to be a bandit, be ready to be attacked by guards and adventurers. Want to build a merchant empire? be ready for other merchants to try and stop you. Basically, the story will morph to fit the playstyle the players want, and if the players want to split up and do their own thing that's fine to i will make separate threads for everyone that wants to try and go it alone. He hit the jackpot alright but not from his intellectual properties, but from a giant portal that transported him to another reality. Now he doesn’t have to just write about fantasies, he can live his own. Alan just couldn’t believe it. There he was playing Starcrossed Online when there was a sudden shimmer in his room. And from the other side of the shimmer looked like some sort of forest. But not the normal kind, but the enchanted kind. Not that Alan knew what an enchanted forest would look like for real, but this is what came to mind as he saw it. Should he step through? Was this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? What did he have to lose by taking that step? No one really except his foster aunt February Jones, who Alan was appreciative of for taking him in the last two years, but he had the distinct feeling she would be relieved when he moved on. And the dog, Sparky. He was a good boy. But like Feb, he seemed to prefer his space. Do it! Alan’s mind yelled out to him to take the step. It’s incredibly fun, I won’t lie. I ran a Ravnica campaign for like 10 people and we had a blast! They were all from different guilds and I ran solo missions for them all as an introduction. But. I burnt out extremely quick.

Army Ranger, major martial arts background, part native American, tracking and hunting skills. Major weapons training. Weight lifting, Ambidextrous( yes I can do 2 swords, num chucks, sias, Kamas, ect, write draw eat ( including chopsticks with both hands equally). Are you getting the picture. ( and don't think for a second I wouldn't grab my Japanese hand forged katana and military survival pack possibly my crossbow or trench coat and jump through said portal. If I could I'd grab everything but my electronics. And be like yes !!!!!)

That is a helluva background, thank you for serving by the way. Most of that would be very useful to a character i agree, but remember your going to a different world with monsters and such. The way people think on earth will be very much different in this other world. In any case i welcome the character you want to make, if you get selected we would have to talk about what bonuses you would get and what works with the world (I don't want to break the game at the start of it lol). You are meant to because massive entities in this new world, but it wont be easy.

Oh i know about burn out but with the posting rate and only having 6 or fewer players i will be ok, if i need to i can bring players back together. Also splitting up will be players choice and not recommended at the start.

1 hi, my names Ethan I was sitting listening to hair metal when the world started tripping and I was pulled from the earth. I'm wearing a ac/DC shirt jeans and converse. I'm a shift lead at mcdonalds so I know how to handle a rush and deal with people. Can't say I work out much though. I love hiking and getting into the woods. If I were to get a class probably ranger, rogue, druid, or fighter. Wolves are epic imagine turning into one.

So questions. Would a pair of katanas count as one?
And if I were to grab a Survival pack would I get everything I normally put in it as 1 item, or would it be each item init is separate.
FYI I keep one in my car as a get home bag, one for hunting and one for disasters. All have lots of survival gear and other than the hunting pack having a 125lbs pull cross bow with scope. They all have the same stuff. (The others just have hand crossbow 6in bolts)

a pair of Katanas would count as 2 items. the survival bag, as long as its small (Say under 5 or 6 small things) i would count it all as one. You would need to list out what all was in the bag, but you can be sure that a bugout bag would be one of the first things i would grab if i was going to go through a portal into the unknown lol. The crossbow would be an individual item.

I remember getting a guitar in the shape of a skeleton. Taught myself how to play, loved shredding that thing. I eventually became good enough that I’d pick a tune for the gang. At the time, the idea of starting a band surfaced, but we didn’t really go through it. But I’d still fiddle with it every now and then. I’m going to miss that stupid guitar. We also managed to get our hands on some wooden swords. Kendo, I think they are called? Well, whatever, the point was that I was the undefeated champion of wooden swords within the gang. While I was more of fist fighter myself, it never hurt to use a weapon, it was fun. I remember even pretending to be a dang samurai. Everyone laughed at me, but they still couldn’t defeat me, so joke was on them! Backstory:   Listen, I am not a good person, the sooner you realize that, the sooner you’ll stop expecting stuff from me. Whoever was driving that van that ran me over, had a very good reason, so no pity party, you’ll make everyone uncomfortable. Inluding me. Growing in the streets had its perks, you know? Freedom to do what you wanted, no rules to follow, and no need to answer to authority. Living day to day, always on the edge, just doing crazy stuff with your gang. Sleep the day off, roam the night. My friends always told me I had a charismatic aura, and thus I was the one to… Let’s say, charm a target, take them to the base, where we would rob them dry. We did avoid killing, because you can’t rob a dead person again, you know? Sure, accidents did happen, but it never got too out of hand. We knew when, and how to bail. What did we do with the money? Well, buy stuff for ourselves, of course. We had to laundry the cash somehow. We spent them on useless stuff, like alcoholic beverages, candies, dumb toys, and warm company. Never knowing when to stop. I hurt a lot of people, and I have many regrets. But I did what I had to to get by... Pity the deity that saw me fit to reawake in this new world, for they shall forever regret it. Still... I feel like maybe this time I should... Try to do better. There's hope, right? Even... For someone like me.
