Summary The Human Kingdom of Zolat Gayora has enjoyed peace for 150 years, the first King Grazzianu Asturus settled the 8 cities close to two hundred years ago, the fifth King Ectorius Augustus was recently crowned. The Coronation of twelve-year-old Ectorius was the catalyst of a series of crises. His uncle Duke Anton Serventai marched an army to cut off the northern cities from the south. Additionally, reports are arriving about barbaric raids and kidnappings taking place against several prominent farming houses destroying the fields and taking their captives to sell at various slave markets. Barbarian tribes have decided that the realm is so preoccupied, the opening for a major conquest is open for the daring.

Current Environment For 140 years, the Kingdom hasn't needed to uphold a large military and adventuring for squirrels and rabbits wasn't prosperous enough to warrant it. Ten years ago the elderly King Octorius Augustus was given a prophecy of the upcoming problems, he began the practice of Academies. The Academy program overseen by elderly nobles recommended young recruits to attend School of Ravens (Spies), School of War (Warriors), Templarus Empirus Acadamia (Clergy), Arcanus Imperius University (Wizardry), or the Hall of Legendary Records (Bards). Students range from 10 to 16 years of age as graduate in their sixth year. The characters are the first generation of adventurers in the Kingdom, they have all recently graduated from their schools and are returning to their village only to find out about the troubles approaching this peaceful land or have already struck their first blow. Many of these troubles are unknown, their origins a mystery; Others have placed the good citizens of the realm in peril and need to be rescued. Much of the continent is unexplored and opportunities to expand the Kingdom and earn a Marque of Nobility are just waiting to be reached. Now there are adventurers, from distant lands and no maps showing their origin.

Group Information 4-10 Players. No more than that though, I'm not that good of a DM. 1st Level Books Allowed; 2nd edition AD&D Players Handbook, Tome of Magic, The Complete 'Class' Guides, and the (Viking, Celtic, Greek, Roman, Charlemagne, and Crusaders Guides). No to the Humanoids, Al QaDim, Dark Sun, Spelljammer books Attributes; Roll 4D6 drop the lowest, Adjust the scores as you wish. Alignments; All Good and Neutral. We are not running a villain game so no need for evil. First Come first served after 48 hours

HPs; Max at 1st level. We will be rolling afterward with a minimum of half of the class hp.

Submission Information Character Name: Character Class: Appearance: Short Background; I will provide secondary skills to add to your characters. These secondary skills will have a score of 9 (to use, you need to roll 9 or less to be successful) I know 2ed AD&D isn't a popular system; Once I get 4 players I'll get a page started. First come first served. I'll allow the more experienced and better quality DM/STs to run the high quality tales.

The Complete 'Class' Guides and Campaign Sourcebooks (Rome, Greece, Celtic, etc.) are all acceptable.

I want to keep the races within the PHB though

No, but the Academies are in city #1 on the map. So you aren't strangers. The school is determined by the class the player chose.
