[Poems] Respond in Haiku

This side of the forums is so quiet it makes me sad! So, I wanted to maybe bring some life to the Library by starting something new.

A group that I used to be a part of on Deviantart started up a journal where everyone would respond in haiku, trying to add on to the previous part. I found this was a fun exercise and got my brain really trying to think, especially with how a haiku is formatted!

For those that don't know, a haiku has a fairly strict format. 3 lines, and a count of 5 syllables in the first and last line, and 7 in the second.

So yeah, I'll get this started!

Lost My heart is racing, my body falling behind, but my mind is dead.

If you have trouble counting syllables here is a handy dandy syllable counter site that I found!

Also, lets try to keep the haikus in a fieldset box! I feel that will make it a bit easier to find them as the posts move on.

Open gaming is a bit of an odd place to have a haiku game, but I can roll with it. Looks like it's been going on for a bit!
