Oof...
My upcoming post (and probably last of significance this round) boils down to a single skill roll with a clean 50/50 chance of success, which is fittingly dramatic. If it fails, there was a lot of unnecessary loss of life... If it succeeds... there was only slightly less unnecessary loss of life...

Oh, thank goodness.
I made the mistake of test rolling the dice beforehand and saw too many high and low rolls. Started getting dice paranoia. Fortunately, both the skill roll and the inspiration roll landed very strongly, so breathing easy is an option again.

I always try to not preview rolls. Every time I do...EVERY, TIME the preview is godlike and the actual roll is about as bad as it can get.
