Name: Frank Hauffman
Bio:Frank Hauffman (Real name Francke Fritzlebergen) was born in Frankfurt, Germany, before his parents emigrated to the great US of A when he was five years old. It was growing up in California that a young Frank became obsessed with body image and began to pump iron, initially to look good for the girls, but then he found competition and stage shows to be his calling. Becoming sensationally muscular, Frank began to earn fame as a competitive body builder, and even won several nationwide competitions, yet his name would not do! Nobody in their right mind would be interested in a Fritzlebergen! So, under the influence of his agent, he changed his name to Frank Hauffman, a much more appropriate name to garner more "publicity".

Franks greedy agent, Barry Benton, saw the aging Frank was beginning to drop down the pecking order at the competition scene and the income drying up, so pushed for Frank to get into acting to bring in the dollars. Even though Frank could not act, and despite his aging, middle aged look, Barry believed he could still make a killing in the movie world. Afterall, this is Hollywood baby!

Characters Name: Brute Maddox
Characters Appearance: White or grey tank tops are what Brute goes for to accentuate those perfect pectorals! Completely inappropriate for space travel, but hey, we gotta see those ripped arms glistening with baby oil, 'cos that sweat glean is just perfect! Brute doesn't need no helmet out in the black, no sir, for this guy has his pilots mirror shades, and who needs to think about science when you look so damned cool, huh? You may find his top and trousers ripped to shreds, just to show off that perfect body at every given opportunity, but you will never see a hair out of place on his head or that finely groomed moustache!

This guy is so dead pan in his delivery, you may think he has no emotion at all when he is killing aliens and destroying starships as if it was all part of the day job. But damn does he look good, and all you boys and girls just know it. If you can't be with him, you know you want to be him!

Playbook: The Gunfighter - no finesse, just lots and lots of weapons!!!!

Character Overview: A one man army. When the military fail in their tasks, when you need a last bastion infiltrated or a horde of xenos destroyed and your armed guard just don't cut the mustard, you call Brute Maddox!

 

Audition Tape:

"Help! HELP! HELP!" came the cries of desperation from the Puppy Sanctuary. The audio-enhanced amplifiers on Maddox's Mirror Shades picked up the high pitched squeals of desperation. Kicking the head from a zombies' shoulders, he stood in the street, breathing heavily and looked over to the sanctuary.

*Camera pans from his sweaty, muscular chest, his tank top torn and filthy but his skin as clean and as perfect as if come straight from a spa. Chest is heaving up and down as he breathes. Camera pans to his handsome face and focuses on him. He turns to stare into the middle distance towards the sanctuary. Zombie horde shuffling towards sanctuary.

*Maddox pulls out his Magnum and blasts the face of another zombie before jogging over to the puppy sanctuary. As he heads towards the gathered horde, he unclips a grenade from his utility belt and pulls the pin with his perfect teeth, tossing it towards the horde gathered at the entrance.

BOOM! Rotten body parts fly all over the street, splattering the walls of the sanctuary. As the smoke and noise dies down, the barking and whimpering of puppies can be heard.

*Camera focusses again on Maddox's face, he pulls an overly exaggerated look of concern and removes his glasses so his steely eyes can stare at nothing in particular.

"You chose the wrong day to die...again!" he hisses in a husky voice before striding over to the doorway of the sanctuary.

*Camera shot changes to inside the sanctuary. Puppies are all bunched up against the far wall, whimpering and squealing in fear. A completely inappropriately dressed Sanctuary worker woman is shielding the puppies from the incoming zombies, beating them off with a red stiletto. He stiletto breaks and she falls to her knees, seemingly accepting her fate.

*Camera pans to doorway. Huge explosion and door flies into a million pieces, filling the room with smoke. Smoke dies down revealing a large shadow blocking the entire doorway.

"Hey! Deadbeats! You're barking up the wrong tree!" Shouts Maddox as the zombies gurgle and murmur, turning their hideous forms away from the girl and towards Brute Maddox.

Maddox pulls a fat cigar from his Cargo pants and places in his mouth. leaning towards the burning doorframe, he lights his cigar and takes a long puff.

"Let's make some Cherry Pie!" he grins.

Drawing up a huge machine gun from nowhere in particular, the room erupts into a cacophony of machine gun fire, needless explosions, blood, guts, tax returns and toilet rolls fly into the air, shredded under the hail of bullets. As the smoke dies down and the noise pollution subsides, the camera pans onto Brute Maddox standing amongst a pile of steaming zombies, destroyed by gun fire.

"Thank you. Oh thank you!" The woman cries. "You have saved me, but more importantly, you rescued these poor puppies!"

*Camera pans back to Maddox who nods to the woman.

"No problem, Ma'am. All in a days work!"

The sound of barking can be heard followed by snuffling and chewing. Maddox looks down to see a puppy scoffing a hunk of zombie meat from his boot.

"I guess they are dead hungry!" Maddox says. Both he and the woman begin to laugh loudly in an overly emphasised, cheesy way!

I do not have time to join this game but it is an amazing concept and some great applications! I would love to follow the game and if there is room in the sequel perhaps I will be able to build a concept.
