I’ve already written the first three major updates to this game. Don’t worry about whether your lap belt works. Just enjoy the roller coaster.

LOL been through all of that. Who knows, maybe we'll just be the local good ole boys like Dukes of Hazard that only fights for their town and no one outside of town knows of them.

*Thinks* - Maybe if I took the profession 'Bank Robber' then starting wealth would not be a problem.
Edit - or if I was already a banker and took the trait 'Embezzler'?

Alrighty, I have spent my gold, bought a horse and a dog, and added little blurbs about them to my post. I think I'm good to go.

So no Traits at all, unless we take the Additional Traits Feat?

Correct.

I bit the bullet on mine with the Additional Traits feat simply for the Harrow Chosen trait. Having and using a deck of 'tarot cards' is literally the whole character concept. Even if she uses Bluff to con people when telling her 'fortunes'.
Having a bored fortune teller sitting in her wagon/hut being bored and practicing card tricks to the point she can use them to snipe birds that try to pick at her potted plants hanging out the wagon windows amuses me. |

Honestly seems to me that if you're actually a witch that can cast divination spells, you're not really a con woman anymore. Unless you just have the capability of telling legitimate fortunes but simply don't for some reason. Then that's just mean!

Maybe she's an actual witch, but she's conning people into believing she's NOT a witch!
"Burn the witch!" "I'm not a witch, I'm not a witch!" "But, you are dressed as one." "No, no, this is actually my...courtroom attire!" "..." "I'm a lawyer?" "...BURN THE LAWYERRRRR!!!"

Plus, it's a hedge against the possibility of not having class powers in the game until after whatever hero's call the 'village people' characters experience. A literal case of 'fake it til you make it'. Alternatively, having only ever used her spells to con people (Using Beguiling Gift to get someone to accept and drink a fake potion so you can charge them for the 'medicine', Charm Person for normal con stuff, Discern Next of Kin spell to 'cold read' someone, etc) simply because that was the grift she was taught also works. |

Alright today is Wednesday. That means I’m selecting players today. I shall agonize over that difficult choice, and notify those selected by PM. Thank you to all who took the time to apply to this game. The applications are all fantastic.

I take it that anyone that hasn't gotten a PM by this point did not make the cut?
