Amnistar - From page 2 of the current WotC FAQ:
Quote:
Use the characterís ECL to determine starting equipment...
So yes, an ECL 5 pixie gets the same starting gold / gear as a level 5 fighter.

I see. Another quick question related to animal companions:

What's the point of the "seek" trick? "Seek: animal moves into an area and looks around for anything that is obviously alive or animate"

If the animal does find something... how do they tell you about it?

Does that mean those creatures can fly with medium or heavy loads? Is it even possible for a flying creature to get airborne at less that its listed fly speed.
You can use a fly speed only when carrying a light load or less. If your load is medium or heavy, you cannot fly; certain kinds of magical flight, such as a fly spell, donít have this restriction. Check the description of the flying effect to be sure.

Haven't you ever watched Lassie? They bark, they caw, they flatten their ears, they go into the pointing position like Fudd's dog when he smells Bugs.

I have watched Lassie, but the trick doesn't say that they necessarily do anything if they do see an animate object.

Basically the trick is that you tell a dog to look for things, if they find something they yelp. Other creatures would have different reactions. They might return to you and have you follow them (like a bloodhound) or they might make some kind of noise, or they might attack it. Depends on the creature.

Why don't you check the D&D errata page?

Not to my knowledge (and not according to the errata document).

Hey... I'm guessing the answer is no, but one can not manifest powers while rageing, can you? It only specifies spells....

No because if you look at the psionics book under magic psionic transperancy it says psionics are treated as spells.

OK - New question.

Does Leap Attack (Complete Adventurer) stack with Supreme Power Attack (Frenzied Berzerker, Complete Warrior)?
