Basically better weapons/armor training, adjustments to get feats easier, more customization, and tweaking it to be more on par with the other martial classes. It's solid.

Cirranil Laraethal is complete, working on his sheet now.

@Infestation - I'm still interested in using the Sensate archetype, just wanted to make sure it was copacetic with Legendary Fighter.

1. Due to the skill variability in Legendary Fighter, I was going to keep skill selection unchanged as per Legendary Fighter.
2. Still going with proficiency only in light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields).
3. Guarded Senses to replace Determination (just like Bravery in the standard).
4. All advanced armor training replaced for Uncanny Dodge/Improved Uncanny Dodge/Evasion/Steady as before.
5. All weapon training replaced for Centered Senses.
6. Perfect Senses instead of armor mastery.
7. Precision instead of weapon mastery.

Hey nice set up, I am intrigued!

Are you allowing the Summoner Archetype: Synthesist? If for instance the Eidolon is an spirit/elemental that fused with the character.

I know most Dungeon Masters dislike Summoners so if it does not appeal to you I can work on something else.

Whether Male or Female Aileen will likely have a crush on the most Charismatic person in the group, longing to not only have the love of such a person but to be as confident as them too. This will however be a quite love where Aileen is too afraid of rejection to vocalize her passions unless she's absolutely sure she won't be rejected as she would likely be unable to handle such an outcome. Better to love from afar then to risk a broken heart.

Element: In Order; Wind, Dark (Night), Light (Healing), Water, Earth, Fire

Favorite Color: Pink, especially when used to make cute stuffed anima... I-I mean black.. Ya, black. That's the type of colo.. Wait!?! Where are you going?!? No! Not my room! It's.. It's a mess inside and I don't want to show.. DON'T GO IN! Wha.. Hoooow did those get in here? I have no idea Someone must have put them here as a prank or someth.. NO!!! Don't throw Sir Sparklemuffin around! His stuffing will come out!

Bonus Feat: Extra Hex (Beast Talk {Birds})
It makes certain ascetic sense that Aileen's primary friends would be other birds like ravens or song birds more then other people. She wouldn't be a complete wall flower (That would make for a very boring character) but having her be that 'weird girl with the wings who's always talking with birds' has a degree of charm to it despite her relative lack in the actual stat. This ability would also allow an interesting avenue of roleplay and utility to open up as her friendship/conversations with birds could allow her to learn things that no one else could without the help of spellcasting.

Personality: Although Aileen tries to be cheerful and friendly she has an undeniable shyness about her. This mostly stems from teasing she has received since childhood because of her unusual looks and upbringing as an orphan. This has made it very hard for her to make friends easily, preferring the company of birds which she has an unusual affinity towards, but it's not impossible. There are those (likely the other players) who have reached out to Aileen which she has bonded with strongly, trusting them almost blindly for whichever small kindness they have shown her, but these individuals are quite rare.

Aileen is also a bit of a closet girly girl and hopeless romantic, liking nothing more then the curl up next to some cute stuffys while reading a romantic novel. She is however afraid to show this side of herself because she fears people would find it inappropriate or strange given her unusual, dark appearance and introverted nature. She would love to try on make up and have her hair done but, in her eyes, there isn't much point as those are things that one does to look pretty and that just isn't her.

Weakness: Her Wings
Aside from the complex she has over both loving her wings since they allow her to fly and hating them as the most obvious sign that she's different, Aileen's wings are also very sensitive to touch. So much so that having them stroked could be very embarrassing to her. It also makes them very difficult to hide under robes or other clothing as they continually itch while so covered. The only one Aileen could allow to touch her wings, other then herself, is someone who she unquestionably trusts or cares about.

Goal: Aileen's primary goal is to become as skilled of a healer as her adopted mother, learning both magical and mundane forms of treatment. However, deeper then this goal is a wish to understand where she came from and who she is. Aileen has heard of how her mother found her but has yet to discover why those particular Strix had been there, least of with her. If possible she would wish to find out more about her people and maybe discover answers to the questions that have tormented her for so long.

Background: Aileen doesn't know much about where she came from and neither does her mother, Greer O Broin, a human shaman and healer who tends to wander from town to town. Years ago Greer was out collecting herbs for a poultice when she happened upon a strange scene. Deep in the woods she found a battle field where tree's had been toppled and great swaths of earth had been ripped from Mother Earth.

Afraid that this was a sign of some creature that might threaten the nearby villages Greer investigated deeper into the woods until she came upon the corpse of a great winged serpent and several other smaller winged creatures. Although several of them were clad in the armor of warriors there were many more who appeared to have no weapons at all. Looking at it all Greer could see that what ever these winged humanoids were they were likely traveling when they were attacked by the serpent. Having to retreat to the forest this groups warriors must have killed the beast but at the cost of several of their own.

Wishing to help put the spirits of those who had died to rest, Greer began to prepare their bodies for burial when she found a single survivor. A small babe which had been hidden under the corpse of what Greer assumed was the child's mother. With the child barely breathing and none of it's people still alive, Greer adopted the baby and named her Aileen; raising the young Strix as if she were her own daughter.

Aileen grew up moving from place to place with her mother, inquisitive about the world but too shy to seek answers without the help of Greer. This, coupled with moving around a lot, made it very hard for Aileen to truly make friends with other children; most seeing her as weird or even bad luck because of her dark complexion and wings. There were even those who chased Greer away, proclaiming her a witch with a cursed child, but these were few an far between. All of this just made Aileen hide herself away even more, trusting only her mother and the birds that always seem to flock around and speak with her.

Despite this Greer still encouraged her daughter to try things on her own, to discover the beauty of the world for herself rather then be content with answers from Greer's own experience. It was during one of these times, when Aileen had been sent out to pick herbs by herself, that the young Strix was introduced to the other characters. Initially Aileen had encountered a group of bullies who had decided to steal her basket of herbs while she was distracted conversing with a friendly sparrow. To the boys it was nothing more then a game, a chance to prove to each other that they were not afraid of the Witch and her Cursed Child but as they were playing keep away with Aileen's basket one of the characters (likely the heroic type that Aileen will develop a Crush on) came to her rescue; driving the bullies off while retrieving her basket.

It is likely that this is when the other characters are just entering the forest for the introduction adventure, having convinced Aileen to tag along and play with them. It could of course have been a separate time with the introduction adventure being a different day from their first meeting but I'll leave that to the GM to decide. Either way could work easily as Aileen would want to try and stay with the group so that she could spend more time with her Crush.

Description: As pure of white as Aileen is as dark as midnight, Fjor is a large owl with intelligent eyes crackling with the power of life. Never found far from Aileen's side Fjor takes pride in his appearance and demeanor, standing proud and resolute even as Aileen shyly pulls back from the spotlight. Although too big to regularly land on Aileen's shoulder Fjor will always find a nearby perch so that he can keep an eye on his young ward.

Personality: Fjor is half over protective father and half critical mother hen. He sees himself more as Aileen's protector and her is his ward then her as his master, a fact that Aileen has had little wish to correct. Fjor understands that Aileen needs to discover her place in the world herself but believes he needs to be there to help keep her on the right track and protect her from threats that might hurt her delicate nature. Believing himself to be well versed in the ways of the world Fjor will regularly wax poetically or speak at length about subjects he believes Aileen needs to be reminded of. Of course, half the time he's forgetting some important fact or word which Aileen is quick to 'Remind' him of so that he might continue. In truth Aileen is far more intelligent and knowledgeable then Fjor but she enjoys her friend's performances, content to humor him and look up to his confidence even if he is somewhat forgetful.

Personality: Xe’ria is a born entertainer, spontaneously lifting her voice to sing or move into dance. Her beautiful, bell-like voice becomes amplified by illusion spells and there is usually some kind of pretty or dramatic flair of magic around her. It is not all controlled, generally occurring due to her emotional state at the time.

While generally altruism and kind, the ifrit has a quick temperament and shifts wildly between joy, and anger. Possessing a pios confidence, and proud demeanor means that she is impartial to petty insults and injustice done to her or those close to her.

With an insatiable desire for knowledge and secrets, Xe’ria can sometimes come off as lacking personal space or tact. It does not seem wrong to the Ifrit to rummage through other people's personal things if she believes they are keeping a secret, or spying on them. When caught she is more likely to point fingers at the victim then admit she is wrong.

Appearance: Xe’ria is average height for an elf, her skin is a dark burgundy, like she had sat in the sun too long and tanned really well. It is spotted with glowing red symbols, and her eyes appear to contain flames that, fierce and raging when angry or a lazy crackle when amused. Pointed ears protrude from short, starlit blonde hair. Her full, burgundy lips are often quirked into a lopsided smirk or drawn into an angry scowl.

The elf had a certain wild beauty, enhanced by Sera when they are bonded. It is clear to anyone with a lick of magic that her aura was unusually potent but it requires an experienced practitioner to notice the linked souls when she hasn’t called Sera. When the elemental is called to shroud her the elf’s skin turns into molten crust, fissures in between bubbling with lava. Her hair lengthens, turning shades of burning red and gold. The strands float around her head like flicks of flame. Then when Xe’ria speaks puffs of smoke billows out, threatening of what could come given time.

Back Story: Xe’ria is technically an Elf born with a strong tie to an element due to her father’s connection with a greater fire elemental named Sera for short. The elemental infused him with fire and so his offspring inherited it too. Her father retired from adventuring in his late two hundreds after receiving a letter from the capital asking if he would protect and serve the city.

Her mother, Lilithel, was a field medic who specialised in Light magic and taught her daughter a bit about the craft. Not a lot, but enough to stabilize the dying if needed. She was often busy in the capital's military infirmary until Aethoren, her husband, became ill leading to Lilithel becoming his full time carer. It was after an attempted murder by an escaped inmate that Aethoren captured. The curse was draining him of life force and required a powerful cleansing spell to lift.

When her father grew sick he asked Sera to serve Xe’ria, who was his only child, so that it would leave with her when she attended college. It agreed, but the ritual of passing ownership went awry, Xe’ria absorbing Sera instead. It is from that day that she realized that she could absorb the essence of other fire elementals too, drawing in their strength and power. Sera was the strongest though and remained sentient within her mind, speaking to her of ways to strengthen them both. The arrangement, albiet an anomaly intrigued Sera as something like this was rather rare.

Since absorbing Sera, the summoner has found it harder to safely control her magic, already managing to accidentally set aflame things around her without thinking. She grows more concerned that her powers will lash out, hurting an innocent person and at the same time a growing desire filled her being. It was a hunger for power and for destruction that had always lingered in the back of her mind but was now gnawing for release. Like her father Xe'ria wishes to travel, accumulating relics of the past and lost knowledge, but the elemental is hiding a secret that could see Xe'ria becoming the puppet instead.

The only one that seems a little off is Centered Senses that you gain at 5th level which actually only replaces weapon training 2, 3, and 4. You would still gain weapon training 1 it would seem. If comparing to Legendary Fighter, the ability gained at those same levels would be advanced weapon training. Comparing the different abilities the regular Fighter and Legendary Fighter's weapon training are the most similar, though not exactly the same. With Legendary Fighter, weapon training is gained at 3rd level instead, then 7th, 11th, and 15th. I think it might be easiest to just move up Centered Senses to be gained at third level instead of fifth. Based off what I am reading you would get both Centered Senses and Weapon Training +1 at level three and then going forward Centered Senses replaces Weapon Training 2, 3, and 4.



Mrjoegangles - Not a problem.


Sarsprilla - Synthesist is fine, though I don't really see a spirit as being strong enough to be the source for a synthesist. They would be a better fit for a normal eidolon, but would need to be inhabiting something to use as a body/shell. They don't have a strong physical presence even when called into form. The elemental ones would be easy to write off that you formed a shell using magic, construct could be simply fused metal plates, etc. An actual elemental creature would make more sense for synthesist, as they are larger and have more of a physical form.
