Here is where we should discuss mechanics, particularly if anybody has any suggestions for how I could run the game better, this would be a great place to bring those up and discuss them. I am very new to play-by-post and would definitely appreciate any advice.

To start off, do you think I should make the individual game threads private and only visible to those playing them? This would definitely be the more immersive option, but I'm not sure what players want. On the other hand, I don't want you all to feel totally isolated, so maybe it would be good to allow players to read the other game threads if they were interested, though they would have to RP without that information. So that is kind of up for discussion, how should we handle privacy of the game threads?

Either or works for me. Personally, I'd rather be left in the dark about the individual stories, so as they won't subconsciously influence me with interactions once characters start coming together. If the threads are left open, I think I might refrain from reading them anyway.

Keeping everything open would also be good for any possible spectators, if there would be any. Just a thought.
