Hey -- games moving real slow and not real healthy. I know I'm partially to blame -- was going to wait for someone else to post then got swept into other things for a few days.

How's everyone feeling? I'm sharing a bit of Sam's frustration.

I'm trying to be patient as I don't want to over run anyone's plans at this point. It is slower than I expected for the game, but I can only post so many "hang back" posts before I feel silly.

Huh. One thing I like about PbP vs. IRL is that you can get across what's going on in people's heads more, like a novel vs a movie. I probably take it too far, but when I don't want to be taking the lead / walking over people in the scenes, I just go with whats on in people's heads.

I can try to adjust my posts a bit, too, to fit the game -- I usually post slightly meatier, but the style here seems to be shorter and faster.

I was really happy with how this game was going at the beginning and excited about it, and would love to get that feeling back...

So, Dolan has walked away. Sam said a few things, then walked away (just a short distance). So, we're left with Thom and Orilo, and Wilbur and his son looking at each other awkwardly?

Hey gamers! I'm going to do something to shake this game up. I was originally counting on Shadow being a part of the group when his guilt or innocence was investigated and I think that's part of the reason why this episode hasn't gone exactly smoothly. Time to change course a little. I'll most likely post this on Wednesday.

Game closing Apparently, I lost the players' interest somewhere along the line. I knew that I shouldn't have started the game with an investigation but that seemed like the best and most organic opportunity to blend a bunch of semi-strangers together. I'll know better for next time. In any event, thank you to those players who gave the game their time, creativity, and effort. Perhaps future games will be more inspiring. For now... game closed.
