I was under the impression that you needed a access to detect magic in order to identify something and that identify just provides a bonus on those checks. Am I wrong PR?

There you have it...so, yes, you're wrong, but I love you anyway. We'll keep it as is because it doesn't effect the fact that Andreal succeeded...

It's not so bad. Turned out all right in the end... and I appreciate that you saved me a casting! A single Mage Armor or something could be the difference in a battle.

PR, I don't know if you've had a chance to read what I posted in my private thread, but if you can take a look it will help me in finishing Daega's character sheet.

I'll probably be posting an update tomorrow and closing the chapter. You're welcome to do any rp before you meet at the North Gate, but that's where we'll pick up.

OK, I lied. This is my wife's 30th birthday weekend. But Monday, Monday, yes, there will be an update, and you guys have been patient and deserve an uber-sweet update...Sorry for being so sporadic, but between work and home, it's been a bit much this week. We'll just continue to take bite sized chunks out of the game, and press on.

Double lies! ARGH! I'm sorry guys. Work's been kicking my butt and not showing any signs of slowing down. After 2 long days, I'm comfortable saying that I want this game to continue with probably a couple of updates/week. Does everyone think that they can be comfortable with that for a little while?

That's fine with me. It'll give me a little bit more incentive to work on my book in the mean-time.

I'll have a post up later, but I just wanted to say...

I'm glad we didn't take the airship. Seriously, I have gotten paranoid about airships in Eberron. In my gaming group, any time adventurers are on an airship, it gets attacked by pirates and either crashes or the elemental ring breaks and the elemental goes berserk. Or both. This has happened several times, with multiple GMs.

What makes it crazier is that each GM decided to build their story off the shared world of the previous one, so the impact of our former characters were left for our new ones. That means all these pirate-induced incidents happened in the same shared world! Either our characters were just pirate-magnets or the airship business simply isn't viable because of the volume of attacks.

Hopefully, I'll have a post up tonight. Need to do some Eberron research.

Working on my post as we speak, and now that school decided to try to EAT MY SOUL I can deal with the couple of posts a week, and in and out of art projects I should be able to get them up.

PR, I intend to start a list of personas in my thread FYI

I now have the picture of a big gorilla in a purple suit complete with a top hat, cape, monocle, and walking cane.

LOL. It took a lot of training to get him to hold his pinky out when he sipped his tea.
