Yay! Hehe, I did mention that the dice hate me, right? Btw, amused that our advert thread had over 600 views.
Yay for being intriguing.

I can't wait to start! Where is my Amazon bodyguard?!

It was indeed, I'm happy I saw it.

See what random curiosity can do to you, now I'm a DM. I hadn't entered that thread with any intention of becoming one.

Anyways, I'll introduce myself now, as I haven't yet.

I'm a twenty something college kid with more time to spare than I should. I work full-time, and am currently in the process of saving money for a ring and a home, along with tuition. I first was introduced to DnD via the computer game Icewind Dale II, which led me to find Icewind Dale I. I guess that is also wrong, in the regard that for years before hand, I was an avid reader of R.A. Salvatore, and his beloved chronicles of a band of mighty hero's and heroines. Most of you probably know the series better or as well as I. I just never realized that, having nothing to do before hand with D&D, that the forgotten realms were a campaign setting, and the magic, gods, and lands were a place many thousands of people played in and enjoyed.

I have never really ever played a successful RL game of D&D. Mostly because I took to it later in my life, and I find few people interested in the game anymore. I have read most every book I own multiple times, and found myself creating worlds in my mind, and adventures, though even here I never planned to actually DM.

Aside from that, I love to read, am currently working on Dan Browns latest book. You can find me in a few other places if your a gamer outside of D&D, in games like Eve-Online, and League of Legends.

In other buisness, would you all like somewhere to place character sheets/background info?

Well very nice to 'meet' you Exiled, I too am a full time student who works a full time job, though I (re) started the whole school thing a little later than most. I'm a 32 year old father of 3 (2 here and 1 one the way), who currently finds himself taking a semester off for the first time in 4 years. I also happen to be between jobs at the moment, which is both a good and bad thing. As to the books, R.A. Salvatore is one of my favorites as well, I have read everything of his Forgotten Realms related (numerous times), and some of his stuff that isn't.

I'm a 28 year old who teaches adult education computer classes, and enjoys arts, music, and languages. I haven't read many of the D&D books. Most people here know me as Beth. I was in a tabletop game, until my DM ran off to go to school for nursing. Now I'm trying to run one for my friends, but not doing so well at it.

Just a quick question for the DM's, I was wondering if one or either of you have any issue with me using the Guide and Skirmisher variants for my Ranger. Both can be found here on the Pathfinders SRD Ranger page. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Or, I guess I should just say any of the various Archetypes & Alternate Class Options from the Advanced Player's Guide, I'm currently undecided between Rogue and Ranger and various concepts between the two.

I'm Chrystrom and I am a D&D addict...

I am an active duty Army Chaplain currently located in Texas. I'm 36 years old and a father of two wonderful girls (one of which I have just yesterday introduced to D&D by playing our first table top adventure together...if you can't find a gaming group breed one )

I've been married for 15 years to a wonderful woman who I am also currently trying to convince to join my daughter and me in playing D&D (the convincing isn't going so well).

I have also read almost everything by R.A. along with owning several autographed copies of his books.

no I don't

Ooo, and great idea, how old is your daughter, seeing on how I have 2 with a 3rd on the way, I was thinking the same thing!

My oldest is 6 (she'll be 7 in March). She's an avid reader and I figured once she could read a character sheet she was old enough to try. I'm trying to simplify things a bit to help her understand. That and liberal use of miniatures seems to have grabbed her attention. We started last night and she was begging me to play again today. So after work we finished our first adventure and will level up to level 2 later this weekend. (The adventure I am using is a 2 character adventure I found on this site. I have found it very useful to help me play with my daughter without being stuck doing all the DM work.)

Hey all, sorry for my absence, visiting my family and interviewing for a job (*crosses fingers*) this week.

I'm a 27 year old histotechnician (kudos to anyone but Amos and Beth who know what that is) with a B.S in Biological Sciences. Yes, it's an actual B.S. in B.S., yuck it up. I game, read, write, sew, cook and cater my two cats and two sugar gliders (Hence the avatar). I've been into D&D and various role-playing games since middle school and look forward to this game.
