@DM: Congrats.
Any chance the fiancee is a fellow gamer?

Is this what you might have in mind for combat?
1. You give us a map and say "combat engaged"
2. We post when we can.
3. After a day, maybe day and a half since your Round 1 start, you post for any remaining players based on contingencies we post beforehand, and then you post for remaining bad guys.

Contingency examples:
The barbarian walks up to the biggest baddie, unless fools are swarming him first, Rages, and tries to take the baddie's head.
The wizard fires an acid dart at the baddie nearest to him.

Edited to add: I've been in a couple games where the DM posts the approximate AC and HP of low level bad guys. That way if a player rolls fairly high in terms of attack and damage, he can describe his "kill shot" and the next poster knows that there's one less villian on the map. Is this something that you're considering implementing?

No she doesn't get into this sort of thing. I have gotten her addicted to minecraft though, so maybe in time.

I was thinking either that, or I give you the map along with a post describing the attacks and movements of the bad guy and then moving to step 2.

I mentioned the bandit pdr thing so you guys could get an idea of what your up against, but if you'd like I could post a few stats in game as well so you don't have to go searching.

EDIT: Who has the potions you guys bought back at the beginning?

I've written Zalmoxis as having at least one. Why don't we assume they're evenly distributed except for Khryssa? It's a little convenient, but we're in trouble enough I suppose it might be warranted.

I think Nicholas bought the potions with the common funds. Zalmoxis bought everything else. I figure I'm justified assuming that Z has one (regardless of distribution otherise) for any of four reasons: (1) common goods from common gold that would sensibly be distributed; (2) Z was standing watch; (3) Z is no warrior, and so better able to take time off combat to administer potions as needed; (4) we're in serious trouble and it would be good for the party for Z to have one, so...

^What he said. Zalmoxis negotiated with Hendricks, and Nicholas took the gold from Khryssa to pay for the potions while Zalmoxis purchased other supplies. Regardless, the policy of potions for the watchman makes sense and even if we didn't write it explicitly we didn't rule it out either. In this situation I'd give the characters the benefit of the doubt.

@jm: What, are you going to run screaming at the bad guys to tackle them and hope the girl dodges out of the way?

@DM:
1. Do you want me to keep the same initative I had last time?
2. Are you going to provide an updated map for the round, or at least declare which square Jamuss wakes up in?
3. By "springs to life", does this mean I am able to move towards a bandit and attack this round if I wish?

2. He's in the same square he dropped on, I think I updated it for the round, but it might not have uploaded fast enough, I was rushing last night.
3. Yes he can, as long as the added health is enough to bring you to 0+ hp. I didn't have time to look.

Yes welcome! I hope you don't mind that I possessed your character for a while...

And in game, is anyone else noticing that Nicholas has gone full on spartan in the battle? Every hit has been with his shield... Kinda kool actually.
