It's a good thing you mentioned that level 2 thing again, since I forgot due to my vacation and the interruption afterwards. I think I've done almost everything now, just can't remember (and could find at first glance) how we were determining HP on level ups. Rolling? Also, do we regain lost HP on level up, or do we just get the new HP?

You just get the extra HPS on a level up, not the lost ones -- but you have had a night a rest, so factor that in

I'm waiting for Captain K to post... He had a juicy bit in private text. Also note that the drums are way off in the distance. They are war drums, designed to carry across the open tundra.

Finding the orc lair will not be difficult - Seldorious knows it well. It is a very large orc encampment near the base of the mountain. It will be a 2-3 day walk or 1 day ride (if you had a horse).

Hello, glad the game is back.

Everyone, Squeak has purposefully left me in the dark about much of the overarching story, so my confusion is genuine.

Easier to roleplay ignorance when it is genuine, I guess.

Btw, mundane items like rope, waterskins, tools are all about the farm, so equip your sheets accordingly.

The arrows fit the bow -- which isn't the right size for you (but you have 40 of them). There is up to 100ft of hemp rope available. There are several shutter lanterns in the house.

The 'something' he is looking for is the stuff you guys picked up in the necromancers cabin.

Believe it or not, if Seldorious wanted charcoal, he could probably find some. The enormous burnt down wooden barn still smoking outside the farmhouse might be a place to look.

I really dislike making short posts like this...but I'm really not seeing anything else to reply to and not seeing a lot to do until Seldorious tells us about his hunch.

@Irish: A thought just occurred to me, given Rosccoe is the wrong size for the bow and Ríven literally has a -5 bonus with the kitchen knife she is currently equipped with. Might the bow be in better hands if given to the elven woman? Just throwing it out there because it occurred to me, but Ríven does have spells, so she can at least contribute to some extent without the bow. Not sure about our halfling friend...

To all, in an effort to speed things up, it is OK to assume that your group will work together. For example, Seldorious could have assumed that Rosscoe would show him the contents of his bag. This wouldn't be the case in any instance where you may be trying to take advantage of another in the group, but otherwise assume you'll do anything reasonable like that with each other.

As a mobile monk type I am good to go in terms of equipment... with 2,000 gp limit we won't be equipping ourselves with a magical armory, but at least some decent armor and weapons for the rest of you... or we can get creative... "living creatures?"

Anyway, due tot academics, my creative and critical thinking capacity is shot... won't be too much more help...
