@Zev: Hm, I don't know what you want to do with those swords of yours, but you are standing approcimately 35ft away from the tree in which the hobgoblin sat and he is running away (means opposing direction) from the group. I though you might have readied a ranged attack. That's why I asked if you wanted to take it.

No, Bayern had his swords drawn, not ranged weapons. If I have to make a move towards him, and I go before him, then just forego one of his attacks and use his Move and Step action to get to him.

Since you are still 35ft away and you cannot step and move in the same round, I'll assume you just want to close the gap and now stand 5ft from the tree. Is this alright with you?

@kenard - Since Braal moved to the base of the tree in the surprise round, would he have an attack of opportunity against the hobo in this round who is exiting the tree and running? I am guessing he would move within 5' of Braal if he had to exit the tree.

I was hoping that by now Toten would have returned to full capacity, as I myself am not THAT good at the rules. I try to net let them get in the way of story telling in my offline games, but I don't seem to be able to translate it well into pbp.

I imagine the hobo being up in the tree and jumping away from it. So in this sense he might or might not pass Braal (3d dimension isn't handle very well in pf) - I think he doesn't.

Okay my schedule got pretty hectic and I think I need to accept that I'm not able to post right now. I'm going out of town starting on Friday the 27th and coming back on the 5th of next month. This is a mix of social visit and scouting the area that we want to move to, so it's entirely likely that once we get down there I will have time and reduced stress to be able to post again. But until then I'm going to be pretty silent. I apologize for my stubborn refusal to accept this fact up until now, and for my absence in the coming period.
