As I've said before Amon Yandlahook is a charming and friendly 32-year old Swashbucklersailor from the River Kingdoms. There is a , for sailors, rare aura of order over him - maybe the reason he makes such a succesful Society initiate? He likes beautiful women (probably not halflings in that sense...), alcohol and to swing around with his cutlass dextrously and deftly.

@Davion and Maskain - are you thinking to have been part of the same confirmation process? I guess the pathfinder jobs are given to a band of agents that the venture captain put together... it can often be new recruits and some veterans that go together, too.

Sorry to be a holdout for so long. I'm working with a Spiritualist which is a 17 year old human. Her spirit is a half-elf merchant that is currently chasing her due to her acting in his murder. He'd be the primary character acted with. Due to the nature of the Pathfinder I'd say this is her Confirmation job.

I flipped a coin and decided, I'll be working on a 34-year-old Halfling Ninja, disgraced and exiled from the lands of Minkai due to a betrayal on both ends; working with the Pathfinder Society to work her way back up. This is indeed her confirmation job.

Well I've got no idea what a poozer is, but allo.

I'm Panthas, been playing for about 8 years now, somewhere around 6 of which have been with Pathfinder. I am a mixture of both combat focus and pure role playing and I've never played Society before.

I tend to play casters, usually full casters, but also half casters as well, I don't think I have ever played a non-caster and to be honest I will probably keep it that way cause I likes me spells.

My characters can be preachy or the moody silent type or anywhere in between, it just depends on what concept speaks to me. I might be a bit rusty these days but I'm looking forward to shaking that off and hopping to playing someone that's got their own stains and shadows they want to shine up. I don't have a concept or such yet cause I'm just now diving into the reading, we shall see what comes out on the other side.

@Sassafrass - If you could pin down the basic premises for the confirmation quest, I will create a brief chapter in how Amon and the halfling rogue (name?) worked together. Does that sound fair?

Here's the official description of the adventure:

Almost all Pathfinders undergo extensive training for three or more years to learn the tricks of the trade, and their last test before graduating from the ranks of the initiates to the status of a full Pathfinder agent is the Confirmation, a special research project that involves considerable fieldwork and is designed to simulate the initiates' future work as a Pathfinder. Even the noteworthy field commissioned agents sometimes participate in such trials as a way to familiarize themselves with the Pathfinder Society’s rules and expectations. Although Confirmation is typically an individual affair, the society recently discovered a site on the Isle of Kortos that would be perfect for initiates but perhaps too dangerous to handle alone. Successfully uncovering this site’s secrets will not only contribute to the society’s body of knowledge but shape the exciting careers ahead for each of the prospective agents.

The plot involves going to an ancient site beneath the Isle of Kortos, which Absalom is on, discovering some friendly but mute gillpeople, and saving a Halfling Pathfinder from an angry Minotaur.

Note: For your PCs, it is not necessary to undergo the three or four year training, that's just there. But feel free to incorporate that into your backstories.

Tipsy and Amon Achrysti left him in Druma with an insatiable hunger for more knowledge, more adventure and more power within the ranks of the Pathfinder Society and during the years of his training and schooling - this time from tutors and mentors that he felt was sincere and true - he came to the conclusion that this could be his way back. His own way of establishing power and influence. He gained friends, contacts and a network worth drooling - spanning the most part of mid Avistan. One of these friends was the pretty little jewel, Tipsy, who was so nifty with her dirks and had that quirky smile plastered upon her freckled little face. In his earlier days, he would often have laughed at halfling and gnome jokes and thought little of them in regards to the seriousness of life’s turmoil, but Tipsy taught him to do better than that and showed him the full extend of her incredible potential - even while she, too, was as green as a beech leaf in the spring in the Society setting. When the confirmation finally came, Tipsy had somehow maneuvered herself into a position whereas she was given a choice among a dozen of candidates to bring on a ‘her’ team for a mission down South, on the Isle of Kortos and along with a quirky old hag, a thrice-blessed half-orc and a wandering tower of metal and blades he, too, was chosen. The confirmation was a blast and while the danger levels was high enough - Amon still remembers how the thrice-blessed had been impaled on the gilded horn of a minotaur and nearly had been lost to the god’s whim - they had succeeded and came out victorious and alive on the other side. While alive certainly had been first priority, the fact that him and Tipsy had been shaken together to a close-knit willow-fence only served to enrichen the experience.

Let me know what you think. I will change the name to suit your wish, before it hits the character thread.

Also, are any of your characters from Absalom? Both the phantom and the spiritualist are from there so maybe some background weaving? Huh? Huh?
