Hey all I’m traveling this weekend and only have my phone so I’ll see how well I can post. I will definitely stay caught up with the story, but posting via mobile is a little tedious so no promises about posting. I’ll be back at 100% by late on Sunday! (US CST here, which I think is GMT-6?)

I would like to ask for an insight roll in game. How do you want to handle 'secret' checks - give you a modifier (+2), make a roll in the dice thread, do an inum roll

In the interest of making rolls more expedient, go ahead and roll a check if you think it applies. I'll trust the players not to meta-game it too much and act appropriately - whatever the dice roll was. If I post "you don't see anything" when you rolled 4 on your perception check, I would expect that you wouldn't instantly call over an ally to also have a look because that's out-of-character knowledge that you rolled low.

Oztk: Yes, Inquisitive is just fine.

Quick Ben: I'm glad that you have some ideas and inspiration. I was hoping that you'd come up with something of a sermon. It seems like it could be a good character moment for us to learn something about his personality. You can do as much or as little as you like, but I'd encourage you to do more than just roll a charisma (performance) check. After all, being a preacher is one of his main attributes. It'd be interesting to see how he approaches the situation.

Fabulous post, Quick Ben! It was more than I could have hoped for and thank you for supporting the story's theme. And it was great to see Thom in his element. Please take an Inspiration reward. A few things:

Happy to go along to investigate first, just was worried we were tromping off on a tangent leaving Shadow by his lonesome, and wanted to keep a window open for going to see him and getting everyone in one place sooner -- not sure how much has been planned there...

City Walls -- Ooops -- wasn't even thinking about something physical, just the description of the presence of the Marshal and City forces falling away fairly quickly once you left the city (or even in the poorer parts of the city). Also, though Sam takes a very skeptical view of intentions and capabilities of the law, that's her view, and OOC I suspect it's not as bad as she thinks.
