[OOC] Out of character talking

Did a bit of research. Apparently, proteins were discovered in 1838 by Dutch chemist Gerardus Johannes Mulder. So...not impossible, but a bit unlikely that a weird cat man of average intelligence who's spent his life in a warband and a farm would understand them.

Been meaning to do this for a while: I built Sam thinking she'd be a swashbuckler rather than an inquisitive, and would like to just tweak a couple of things to adjust.

1. Sam's got 8 Int and 14 Char, and I'd like to switch those two stats (which seems closer to how I'm playing her, anyway).
2. Like to switch my history proficiency for insight
3. Expertise in Stealth and Persuasion, instead of having one in sleight of hand

Those changes are fine. I'd also agree that Sam seems relatively thoughtful, as in cerebral.

Hmm... interesting that there seems to be a storm on the horizon. Yes, DonaldJWafer, you got the geography down just perfectly.

I'll NPC Shadow at Dawn until Sinister (hopefully) comes back. He's not been on the site for 12 days, so I hope it's just because of his family situation and the American holiday and that he'll be back. In the meantime, let's continue forward.

Maybe I should have asked, but I assumed Sam would have had small encounters with the deputy before, but only know the Marshal herself by reputation; I can edit fix it if you want.

And though I'm dying to know what's up with Sikes and the pot, think Sam had too much on her mind to try to figure it out yet.

Things had gotten alot worse for a minute there. I am sorry for going AWOL. Again. To be honest, I hadn't even thought about things here for awhile. I will bow out with total understanding if that feels like the best thing for the group. I sincerely apologise for making things harder here.

Sorry to hear things were pear-shaped; hope everything's on the rebound. IRL crises are way more important than this site.

If things have calmed down a bit and you want to come back I'd personally love to have you back -- I'm really enjoying the setting and interactions we've got so far, but Shadow being locked up is the plot we've got going now and if there's no Shadow, then...
