Duck it. I'll spend the rest of his spin and the last use of his grinning coin in attempts to hold onto the spell. I've got two different re-rolls I can use if necessary.
Dice Roll:
d20+31 (14)+31 Total = 45
d6 5

Re-roll #1. The 5 from the spinning coin will stand.
Dice Roll:
d20+31 (16)+31 Total = 47

That will do it. Morgan uses the rest of his spin and his grinning coin and his Insight of Good Fortune spell, but holds on to the Summon Monster 7. If only I'd used the moment of prescience on the concentration check.

Casting one 7th level spell cost me 4 points of spin, one use of a 2x daily item, my one forced re-roll for the day, a 2nd level spell, and an 8th level spell. I'm not sure Smiling is the term I'd use. Grudgingly relenting perhaps.

Considering what you were up against that's a result though. It was pretty stacked against Morgan after all.

That's mainly because I went about it in the wrong order.
Had I'd known he'd hit with a natural 20 the order of operands would have resulted in far far less cost.
