House Rules

Acceptable Material:
  • Any "Core" Pathfinder Rulebook (e.g. says "Pathfinder Roleplaying Game" on cover, like Ultimate Magic)
  • Eberron Pathfinder Conversion on case-by-case basis.
  • Psionics Unleashed / Ultimate Psionics from Dreamscarred Press
  • Additional Paizo material on a case-by-case basis.

Character Creation/Advancement Guidelines:
  • Characters will be generated at level 3, with 20 point buy and 3000 GP in wealth.
  • HP Progression has two options. Rolling OR taking the alternating average (e.g. d8 would be 4 HP on the first, 5 HP on the second). Once chosen, you cannot opt for the other.
  • Two traits may be chosen and reflavored to fit Eberron as necessary. Campaign traits are not allowed. Drawbacks are not allowed.
  • Characters with crafting abilities may choose to spend gold as though they had necessary time and took 10 on the appropriate crafting check at level 3.
  • Character Progression is on the Fast XP Track
  • Upon hitting level 6, characters will cease to gain levels, but can instead get a new feat every 3.3k XP. Certain class features will be available as feats on a case-by-case basis.

Combat / Mechanics:
  • To speed up the flow of gameplay, combat shall take place in phases. NPCs will act on a single Initiative count. All PCs who beat that initiative get an action, then monsters get an action, then all PCs get an action. Specific orders will not be followed.
  • Knowledge/Perception Checks will be rolled by the DM in secret on request. A "Passive" Perception of taking 10 will be assumed in normal cautious movement, unless otherwise stated.
  • Explicit combat maps will almost NEVER be utilized. Reasonable assumptions will be made through post interpretation. (e.g. if two characters are flanking an NPC you wish to Color Spray, you're hitting at least one of those two as well)
