You said he was held and then said he proceeded to act. Which is it? If he is held then he shouldn't have been able to act, he doesn't get a save every turn, but since Trindy went last he should have been held for one round then, allowing everyone but her to get to act without his reaction. Or did I misunderstand the events?

DESCRIPTION

The subject becomes paralyzed and freezes in place. It is aware and breathes normally but cannot take any actions, even speech. A winged creature who is paralyzed cannot flap its wings and falls. A swimmer can't swim and may drown.

it should last for 6 rounds but if he uses a full round action he can make a save to break free as it says.
