Alright... I apologize about this... My brother... downloads... stuff, I don't even think it's porn, it's worse, so. much. worse...

And every third torrent is a Trojan.

So our internet provider doesn't like this, and every time his computer goes down for maintenance, Qwest turns off our internet. Since it had been three weeks since this last happened, I thought he had finally learned his lesson.

But obviously he has not.

So... I guess the question is, will you be okay with me having unexplained (apparently they're sometimes several days in length) absences, or will this kill the game?


Edit: Also, I didn't answer this question before... and it's been bugging me for days... I don't have experience with traits... so, I'll be willing to allow trading feats for traits (at a 2:1 ratio via the "Extra Traits" Feat) but I'm not going to adding traits to the game.

Absences are fine, good to know that your delays aren't your usual style. (Or, at least not your intended style.)

Here's a mechanics question from me: Crafting. Pathfinder doesn't carry XP penalties like 3.5 did. I have both the wondrous items, and the arms/ armor crafting feats. Can I craft my gear (And the gear of Sakure, who's backstory is connected with mine.) Or is that too much of a cheat with gold?

Traits are easy and nice flavor, I won't ask for it you made your ruling I just don't understand your experience being a reason. These aren't traits like in Unearthed Arcana.

if your saying no traits and under normal rules everyone gets 2 traits, that would mean everyone gets an extra feat?

As the the qwest problem(they still around? I have a friend with charter where when it's 85 degrees F or higher his 50 mb net turns into .5) I won't mind random disappearances for a few days now that I know they might happen.

I certainly hope this doesn't become my style...

As far as the traits though, as I make the awkward shift from GURPS in its entirely point based character building back to Pathfinder and it's weird leveling mechanics, I notice that characters get more flavorful the more powerful they are (when the player is of a certain sort to seek out such flavor) and traits seem to be a pretty good way to overcome the relative "blandness" of low levels.

As I'm sitting here thinking about this (since I'm eating, I'm doing more thinking than typing), I just remembered one of my ideas I was going to assault the "House Rules" forum with, that traits seem to fix... and actually, I'm thinking that they might be a very good addition to the game. So, I've just changed my mind, I'll allow them.

Oh, and that post above... I meant a 1:2 ratio... as per the Additional Traits Feat.

well personally I'd rather the traits then the feat ether-way. I would suggest leaving out flaws as the UA(the only official source) is seriously lacking in flavors of them.
