On the plus side, it becomes much easier to heal the lot of you.

i'm thinking that if I stay melee I might go scimitar instead of elven curve blade, and go for dervish dance. Would allow me to drop my points in str and put more into dex, though I would have to reallocate two ranks to dance. I wouldn't have my nifty bodyguard that can take damaged for me if i'm hit and increase my ac by two.(but that relies on AoO).
Though I'm still looking into things

Maybe it's the powergamer in me, but I always questioned the point of a build that relied on other people making mistakes to be successful. I'll stick to my 19-20/x3 sword-with-flurry for now.

My build had nothing to do with other people making mistakes, it allowed me to take additional actions when someone tried to step away from me. Maybe not powergamer-like but effective none-the-less.

mine more dealt with controlling the area within 10 feet of me, and my Eidolon taking hits for me, while the taking hits feat would still work, it requires two feats that are based of of AoO, of which many feats are, and it's not worth losing two feats.

Only one way to find out if your character is ridiculously power player built or broken! Saddle up!

Sorry, I'm not the most familiar with Pathfinder, I didn't realize that immediate actions were so important...

They've done some stuff with AoO's to make builds that use them more, but without being horribly broken. (For example: 3.5's strategy of one man with a chain tripping the whole field, then destroying them when they try to stand back up. I don't know if that's still valid... but there are now feats that let you chase people when they walk away, dominate the area immediately around you, hunt mages down with a vengeance, etc.)
The good balance between blanketing out all AoO's (Which will speed up play, but eliminates a number of melee builds... especially those quick and hard hitting monk styles) and keeping them all (Which becomes an annoying numbers game.) Is to have those who actually rely on AoO's put a note in their combat posts that states the following. 1.) What they want to use their AoO's for. 2.) Attack and damage bonus with their AoO's, as well as the max number they can make. I'm never likely to put those notes into my posts, because I suck at AoO's. Sakure is also unlikely to use them, since she'll only get one per turn, and they're not crucial to her. But our two AoO loving friends will probably put more into their AoO combat then their normal round actions.

Yes I would have actions like:
And stuff like that only with more numbers and structure.

I wouldn't say AOO loving. Just caster hating...

Kaia doesn't use AoO's. She uses steel and speed to make sure her opponents don't have a turn to provoke attacks with.

I cast spells.
Thusly, less AoO's =safer spells.

Just to summarize: Laksha is throwing a belt up that increases her fatigue/combat prowess directly just to get the group underway. Her patience is less than limited. She'd rather defer herself than let logistics get in the way. Expect some confrontation in the near future for characters trying to defer to sit back approaches.
