Argh, I was sure I was going to get the first game post in! A few thoughts spring to mind:

1: I'm playing a character called Al the Alchemist. This was not intentional, but does lend itself to pop culture references like "Can we explode it? Yes we can!"
2: Al is clearly going to be called Al, because Altraminus is too much of a mouthful, but he's also going to grumble about it.
3: "Where's my pockets?" has just become my new favourite line.

arguilios I'll take your post as your actions when he's finally awake (you'll be using a move action to stand up, then another to rush over to the weapon pile...the turn after you can grab a weapon then run over...then finally after 3 rounds hit something...bit boring I know, but it's how the encounter is designed ).

Also, can you teach me how to do the hidden rolling like you did? I really like the mouse over text, it's pretty .

{tt=blah blah}insert hidden comment here{/tt} that's what the code looks like, replace { with [ for this:

insert hidden comment hereblah blah

Also, any time you want to see how someone wrote code, just click the code button in the lower right hand corner of their post and you'll see all of it.

Alright, mate; if you say so. It's really as easy as Peter's just explained:

Sorry I completely forgot about the token thing. But I'm perfectly fine with the one you picked, it kinda looks like a treeman from a distance.

EDIT: Oh, and, just for the record: what I hoped to clarify in my opening post is that I don't see Koril as having any actual sorcerous powers. I mean, he might, but for the moment, he doesn't know of it, and any "spells" he casts at this point are effects created by the parasite.

You're a sorcerer, whatever spells you know should be on your sheet, and those are the ones your parasite are giving you, then spontaneously cast them when needed .

Congrats on 1000 posts!

Whoot, let me boot up my laptop, went ahead and made something there... think I need to modify a bit of it, but it's mostly done. Yey for boring engineering classes!

I've got a question about the Luck Domain power, Bit of Luck. My first impression was that it was effective for a single roll, but upon re-reading it I believe it actually states that ALL d20 rolls made in the following round by the recipient are rolled twice. Which interpretation is correct. Here is the text in the d20pfsrd for reference.

Bit of Luck (Sp): You can touch a willing creature as a standard action, giving it a bit of luck. For the next round, any time the target rolls a d20, he may roll twice and take the more favorable result. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Yes it's all D20. Might seem overpowered if you touch someone with multiple attacks, but by the time you're at that level you have to balance the fact that if you're using a standard action to buff the fighter:

1) You're also in melee range of bigger creatures with reach, and AoE spells.
2) There's probably a magic/disease/poison affect you should be dealing with
3) You have cooties, and the fighter doesn't want you to touch him.

I wasn't even thinking of multiple attacks; don't forget d20s are also used for critical threat confirmation, saves, and skill checks (such as perception checks to note reinforcements in the distance). Plus, if I stand next to the guy with cleave and a large enough axe...

I see your points though. Still, useful early on when my own combat options are mostly limited to minor buffs and belching fog.

Just for clarification, the only people that receive the benefit of Bless this round are Welter and Bingus; Al and Koril's respective turns would occur before Bless was cast.

Just to make sure: I'm not posting this round right? Bingus is busy until round three just recovering his weapon. Right?

Yes Peter. Infact people posted before they were meant to . Your post applies in round 2, which I have just updated.

If you read the OOC of my first post it mentions twice, and I said it again here that only Al and Koril got to act in the first round. It's part of the scripting for the encounter that those who roll poorly on their saves take longer to wake up (fort for all you at the dinner table, will for those who weren't).

For the record, if your character is spending time getting his weapon (2 full rounds of action, first round you stand up and move to the pile....second round you grab your weapon, then make a move action) I don't need you to post that "I'm picking up my sword!", I'll just assume you're doing so and move along.

SO:

Peter172 and arguilious, I do not need actions from you for round 3. You may skip your post, or post it if you want (though it will be little more than roleplaying grabbing your weapon, maybe giving it a hug), but if there isn't one by the time the other 3 players have posted their actions I'll just move us along and assume you do so.

Welter will be taking a standard action to grab his weapon, then a move action to get into combat range of the closest foe. Bingus will use a 5ft step to reach the weapon pile, standard action to grab his weapon, then pick his nose with his move action.

You guys know how much I'm enjoying this game? I bought Black Ops today, but hopped on here to post an update before I played it. It's been sitting on my HDD installed for the past 45 minutes now .

Just one point I'd like to make: There's no 'u' in Gardrel.

Other than that, expect a post from me in about 12 hours. Sleep now, busy in morning :/

EDIT: WHEWT! 2k posts!

I'm off guys! Wish me luck, we broke the record for capture rate last time, let's see if we can do it again .

Back in 2 weeks.

Thankyou all for being so prompt with your posting, I hope we can continue this when I return.
