I *think* Brune was the only one suggesting a course other than to the bandit hideout. That was made under the mistaken assumption that Bokken was our new PC, and isn't something he would feel strongly about. I'm all for whatever, but I think that hideout is the next stop.
I'll make a game post tonight. I ran afoul of server downtime yesterday.

Ah dang it, I should have been more explicit. I was guessing that Siseril thought Brune was Olegg (since that's the only person he can see). Oh well, doesn't really matter. But aren't I outside the fort? Can I come in please? =)

Have we lost Satinder as well?

Sadly, for this game and the one he was DMing up the hallway there, Finder's not been on the board in about three weeks now. I'm wondering whether he's a victim of the flooding circumstances down under or ... kidnapped by vengeful bandicoots. |

I don't believe that Finder lives in Queensland. Regardless, I am a bit concerned - it is possible that he has family living in those areas that have been affected by the floods in Victoria (where I am) or Queensland. Thankfully, I haven't been affected but these floods were devastating to a lot of families. I'm hoping everything is ok with him.

So... Your money's on the vengeful bandicoots then? I suppose they've some reason for irritation -- all that tracking and banding by humans. It's a bit of an intrusion upon one's privacy, the scientific interest notwithstanding. You'd think they could just let it go, let bygones be bygones. But, there's no accounting for the marsupial mind, and that's reason enough for humans' continued tracking and banding. And, there you are; it's a vicious circle. Let's hope Finder can make peace with them and get back to the game, eh? |

Aye, if worse comes to worst, then we can re-recruit.

hey, Siseril may be a coward, but I'll be helping out plenty in a fight.

Bandicoots, eh? I guess I'm rooting for Yelling Bird after all. I never thought it would come to that.
Re: What to do with Alistair and Satinder Why not NPC them and say they decided to remain at the Trading Post or went on a supply run back to Brevoy? That gives them an excuse if the players do show up again to get back with the group. (Alternatively, it gives us some more minor NPCs that you don't have to worry about statting up or creating backstories for.)

VaerSheth has the right idea there.
Alistair at the least would make an interesting opponent later on, given his Heritage, personality and inclusion in the original Charter. Satinder could base himself out of Oleg's, where he can work on his epic tale of our adventures in peace, while still able to get the news first-hand.

Good idea. I've decided to leave them as 'guards' for now in case the bandits somehow manage to free themselves. Nevertheless I've temporarily taken them out of the picture. We'll see what happens. Hope what I posted is ok with everyone.
In case you can't find that last thread, I've just moved it into archives.

Would you mind updating the appropriate squares on the Charter Map, to indicate Oleg's and this Camp. I understand we still need to explore those squares, but I'd like to have an Icon to represent we've found at least these two sites.

I'll be making a post for the reticent ranger later this evening. Am I the slow mover in this thread?

It looks like you might be, I'm afraid. Would I be correct in guessing that you can't post on weekends much?
