The game is afoot! Things begin moving forward now - actual NPC presences coming veeeery soon.
If it feels like I'm forcing the plot, I'm truly sorry - it feels like things are reaching their natural peak with you guys on your own and I want to get to the more juicy parts before you lose interest. I fully anticipate actual Pathfinder stuff to commence soon.

Go ahead and push us. I'm in another game right now where the GM has a very strict "wait to advance the scene until all the PCs are done roleplaying out the current scene as much as they could possibly want" policy.
It has, at times, resulted in weeks-long holding patterns of us making random idle back-and-forth while waiting for something to happen while the GM sits there because he won't make anything happen as long as we're still posting stuff. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, I definitely don't want that to happen... there's a lot of story to get through, and while I want to move things at your pace, every now and then I might give you a brief nudge.
But, for the most part, you'll have free reign. Do as you see fit and, when it looks like things are stalling, I'll see if I can find a way to move things along. On a completely different note, has anybody seen Sucker Punch? It looks like an interesting film, but it's gotten very mixed reviews, which makes me a little unsure if I should go or not.

I have not. I've also seen some very mixed reviews on it - in my case, on RPGnet. Some people love it, others hate it...
My guess is that what you take away from the film depends significantly on what you go into the film expecting. But then, I say that about all films (and, for that matter, all media of any kind), and generally try to have as few expectations as possible so as to let the net effect of the story have its greatest impact without any baggage caused by erroneous preconceptions. That is, honestly, I why I tend to enjoy M. Night Shyamalan's films - I don't go into them expecting a horror movie, and I don't consider them to be part of that genre - they're films about human nature and philosophy, and by looking at them in that light, they present situations worth thinking about. *shrug* But then, I'm weird sometimes.

If it's at all helpful, I promise you that action and real tasks are just around the corner. Prologue is almost done, ready to move on to meatier fare.
