I have a question. Considering Chivon's background, I would like to use the Rich Parents trait (starting cash is instead 900 gp), but I am not sure it is acceptable. I mostly wish to use it so that I may turn his heirloom weapon (which, I may remind you, was formerly magical) into the masterwork weapon it should be. May I use it? If not, I have a different idea.

Damn I knew someone was going to ask for it
![]() Rich Parent will be permitted at a cost. The character who ask for it will have to give me a enemy of sort. Either it is strong individual, organization or some other group that opposes the character. If anyone wishes to take it must PM me this enemy. Also I will warn ahead of time that this enemy will make the game slightly more difficult. More specifically for that player. Simply to balance out the large advantage gain from rich parent. Of course this can also serve as a plot hook for a future adventure. That is all.

Wow, you beat me to the same question, but that actually fits most perfectly with the character background. His name is already given in the background. Along with the organization he commands.

Generally a lot of people (such as myself) take the Rich Parent trait. I found it rather cheap way to get cash and the desire items I want at the starting of the game yet I always found it... Kinda unfair. It completely blocks off what could be a more interesting trait or less breaking ability. I understand how it supports a rich character but I always felt it should have a weakness. I figure rich people always end up pissing someone off
![]() So Kevin I assume that group is you're enemy then?

Yep. It was already built in there for you to use against me. I like to give DM's ammunition against my character.

Anyone who gives me room for me to bring in the character's history into gameplay definitely get's my attention. I love it when I read something and then in my head I can think up for events and enemies that I can add to the campaign. Truly helps it flesh it out and make the characters feel even more in the center of things in my opinion.

Aren't heirloom weapons already masterwork quality, Lego?
Anyway, off to bed. It's late. |

Never heard of that rule, and it's more fair to pay for it, anyway.

Heirloom Weapons are masterwork. Very useful early trait but suffers as the weapon basically stops being useful. Basically a waste of a trait at later levels.
Night Alex! Hope to see everyone introduction post tomorrow! Gonna be watching the Glee Project <3 <3 <3

Oh and Lego, Aldori dueling swords have a x3 crit multiplier. That's part of what makes them so cool. It's the only typo I'm aware of in the d20pfsrd website, and I only know about it because it was an issue for another character I made.

Oh, thanks. That makes the feat I took for it much more valuable than a Skill Focus.

Boobs. I mean Hi.
Expanded my character bio rather than just copypasting. Hope that's okay. Also, my character has a diary. It will be fun to write. |
