Excellent. 4 players will be plenty, so I'll get the game submitted. Not that I care much about party balance (the actual party has a Cavalier as the skill monkey, for crying out loud), but may I know the basic roles you intend to play? Y'know, nuker, defender, skill specialist, etc.

Depends on what everyone else takes. If no one takes healer I will be a Cleric. Otherwise I will be a Paladin. If both Tank and Healer are taken then I guess I wil go spellcaster and go Sorcerer. If we need a true skill specialist then I will go Rogue

In this particular campaign, I doubt a skill specialist will be completely necessary. If the campaign is popular enough, I may run all future campaigns by the group for testing, in which case a skill monkey couldn't hurt. It would help me flex my DM'ing muscles for the real thing.
Also, Paladins are awesome. If you end up playing one (or a Cleric, for that matter), Iomedae or Erastil would be VERY good options for a diety. Other options would include anything from Sarenrae (good for a Healbot, of course), to Shelyn, to Abadar. Last edited by Legomaster00156; Sep 10th, 2011 at 12:21 AM. |

I'm already running Paladin of Abadar so I think I will flex my cleric muscles and play aCcleric of Cayden Cailean.
As both advice as a fellow DM and from my own experience I recommand you take one more player. If ever someone drops out or gets too busy it be safe for a campaign to have that extra fifth wild card player. This is just my opinion of course.

Thinking of being ranger, monk or bard. Depending on party needs.

Well, I have several friends that I know to be reliably present on this site. Should anyone drop out, I can probably call one of them up as a replacement.

Elsie's feeling a little curious as to what's upstairs, to be honest. I won't break up the group unless the others are okay with it though.
Skyler, can I take 20 on stealth before I explore, or should I wait until there's actually things to hide from and roll then? |

I would be interested in playing a Sorcerer or Wizard, probably leaning towards the latter though.

You make take 10 but not 20 due to the fact that there is a possibility that something can go wrong. Taking 20 means you're character keeps rolling until they get the desire amount. Obviously since this is one roll you may not.

Alright, I hate double-posting, but I felt I need to say a few things.
1. I have to ask how much XP we gained from the last encounter, or if we'll even get the XP until this quest is over. 2. Everyone, it may be a good idea to ready actions. |

Hey. I made a Prestige Class for Pathfinder, and I'd like critique on it. I can't tell if it's balanced, but I fear that it may be a bit overpowered (I tried to make it worth leaving your class' capstone in the dust, as well as taking an odd feat combination and skills), or even underpowered (for the same reasons). Behold: The Impervious Commander.
