*To be totally clear on the group's backstory, we're employees of a mercenary group called "The Trade of Blades" sent to look for signs of a return of the mythical dragons, right?

*Insacrum, what does everybody know about your intelligent magic axe? Does it talk out loud? Does it talk in other people's presence? Has hatchet ever mentioned, "Hey, by the way guys, not only is my axe alive and sentient but it's more intelligent than certain other members of the party"? Basically, what would I know about your weapon in character? Presumably I know that you blend melee combat and spellcasting, but I don't want to presume more than that.

Good question about the axe.

And since we are on it, Winter has a big dog for a bonded companion (animal companion), and you would all know him. Huge... 160 pounds, basically a Mastiff. Loyal to Winter, and the group, he's affable, friendly. Does good guard duty, tracks, hunts. Sleeps a lot. Eats.

So, you all likely have seen him, know him, have walked beside him for leagues, had him beg food outside your tent, etc..

He needs a good name, though...

As far as I understand, the axe talks to me telepathically. So you wouldn't hear it, but you would see me having one sided conversations with it. I would assume it would be akin to smeagle/golum with the ring, just toned down by about x100. I always have the axe. I sleep with it. I bathe with it. If there was a female dwarf around, I would probably have sex with it (hmmm.... weird sentence).

That's correct my good sir. Though the companies called the Blades of Trade. Easy to mix that up since in NWN there's a building where you
can hire mercenaries with in the city of Neverwinter called about the same. Though my company is like that mixed with The Blades from TES series okay. so no biggy.



lmao I have no doubt and I'm not even going there either lol :P. What ever floats your dwarves boat hehe. I'm not judging, though he could be like with the clans chief with his female "companions" or aka courtesans. And that's being PG-13. Since in TES V: Skyrim is more R rated if you know what I mean. That's cool though and it's your bonded blade, it's also cool that you gave it a female persona instead of male one that most players would of gave it. Good work lad .

I can't speak for everyone, but once I get going sometimes I build up a lot of momentum and just don't feel like stopping. Although I can't claim to have written a post of Peleus' length... yet.

On another note, do try and keep OOC comments that aren't directly related to the game thread in the OOC thread. If you decide to write something that isn't "in game" in the game thread, make sure that's really the best place to put it.

I'm a wordy kind of guy. LOL! That's a good thing, considering I'm in a graduate writing program. But, for games, I tend to write more for the intro posts, and less as we get moving. You won't have to read 1500 word posts too often (I don't think, anyway... it really depends on how much wine I've had when I write the post... ).
