I'm mostly finished, but have a couple questions.
All the Traits to choose from involve us getting knocked out and press ganged.
Do we start out with any equipment?
If I don't spend all my gold for equipment, do the pirates just take all the left over coins?

Your starting equipment will be parceled away and you may or may not start with something, depending on what you have and my whim (mwahaha). Gold will be part of that parcel. So yeah, spend what you want and everything, you just won't have it on you necessarily at the beginning.

Rare that I roll for ability scores, and then decide on a class, and then finish the sheet, and then write up the background, in that order.

Rarer still I play a character with STR, DEX, and CON each under 10, I think.

This should be most interesting.

I'm still trying to come up with a convincing concept/background for my character. I'll work on it over the weekend. Hopefully be ready early next week.

Holy moley Zev, sorry I didn't notice that. You can re-roll if you want to try to get better stats than that! That goes for anyone (I don't like letting one person re-roll if everyone can't).

The 8 STR I dont mind, I think I incorporated it well in background and gear choices.

Edited to say: I took the reroll. Better stats overall, but took a hit, so to speak, on Wisdom.

So I had my character ready to go before realizing that Pirates do not have proficiency with either the cutlass or my preferred Boarding Axe. Making some quick changes and I'll post it shortly.

I am mostly finished with Nori, the human Druid with no animal companion. I'll get him posted and a background written up tomorrow.

You should give him a fish animal companion. He can carry it in a bowl while on land.

Sorry for the delay all. As most of you already know I hardly ever post on weekends. Other things (see my sig) have my energy levels for posting pretty low currently, so further apologies if that causes more delays from me.
