Thanks for the heads up (this is my first PBP game.) In that case, I will swap it out for Uncanny Alertness (to give you another couple skill bonuses to worry about. )

@Libertores: I always like buffing and debuffing and I think witches have access to pretty good spells/abilities in that area. But I'm happy for you to go for anything you want. Your character should be designed in a way that you will be comfortable playing.

To be fair, many DMs on this site do use initiative in combat. I just personally feel it slows things down without adding much value.

In regards to the business at hand, however, Blacktalon can fill a melee or ranged role. I agree in that any Witch in the party should be spec'd towards buff/debuff, but certainly more towards debuff, because, you know, bard?

I got called into a double shift on work what was supposed to be a day off (fun!) but my sheet should be up shortly. No doubt riddled w/ errors as I'm exhausted, but at least it'll be up.

And yes, I'll probably go the debuff route then.

ETA: WELL I was being very generous with finishing my sheet tonight, but 2/3 done is better than 0/3 done. I have to get up early tomorrow (today?) anyway to do paperwork, so maybe I'll be able to finish it before anyone else is on.

A witch can easily fill the debuffing role thanks to cackle, evil eye, slumber and their various other hexes. Just saiyan.

I swear the last time I played a witch it was much less complicated though! I don't even remember patrons.
