I'm a little overworked today, so I'm also not very creative and my post is very much on the short side. I did at least get around to stating Ríven's most important needs...and she wouldn't really be the one to ask for advice on traps anyway...

What I'd ask is that everyone detail out exactly what you want in equipment, along with the costs involved. Since you are relatively nekkid, except for Seldorious and Who should probably want to give back Seldorious' wife's clothingRiven, I'd suggest putting cold weather outfits onto the list.

As a note, drawing these pictures will take time -- and the orcs are approaching fast.

As a rule, I'm fine with Riven, Rosscoe and Beau can spend up to 650gp each items from the PH, outside of 'special materials'. If you want to spend more, please let the others know so you can use some of their ink.

As a note, I'm even fine with masterwork items, although the DC to make that will be 18 instead of 15 -- and will require a craft(drawing) roll. A failed roll will mean the ink was wasted, so you'll need to 'buy' it again.

Obviously, some things could take more ink that others, so I'll be taking that into consideration.

You can do this in the OOC or on the main thread, as long as it is accounted for somewhere.

Are we able to each use the "paint" at the same time, or can only one person use it at a time. Basically, can we multi-task our item creation?

Need to know if Rosscoe is going to spend the next hour or so as slave labour or if we can knock it out as a group in 20-30 mins.

would "bow & arrow" count as 1 item, or two? 10 mins for the bow and 10 for the quiver, or can they be a packaged deal?

Each 'item listing' in the PH/SRD is a separate item... So a bow is an item, 20 arrows are an item and a quiver is an item. 30 minutes for all 3 of them. Also, there is only one brush, so multiple people are not able to paint at the same time.

Assuming that bow came with a decent amount of arrows (I lost too much time to the site maintenance to go and check right now), Ríven will agree to the list Rosccoe has got as far as she is concerned. If there were hardly any or no arrows though, than 20 arrows are probably more useful than the Scimitar...

I'm more than happy to do that, though I'm not exactly sure what sort of detail I could have added, given what I knew. Could you give me some sort of example of what some detail you have in mind might look like? Just to get us both on the same wavelength?

For now, Beau just needs a set of threads and a backpack with some rations. You can allocate my "share" of the ink for stuff you guys might need... I might get a masterwork staff, though. Always use a good stick...

Masterwork will be tricky, as I'll need to roll for it and odds aren't good. As for clothes, backpack, and rations .... we're on a farm. I'm sure there's some sitting around.

Just pointing out what my sig has been warning about for a while, I'll be out of town on my work's yearly winter school starting tomorrow and going through Friday. No posts from me during that time due to lack of internet, so NPC Ríven if necessary, though with her current information she is strongly in favor of running away even though Seldorious won't like it. Somehow I don't see us taking on 80 orcs unless someone has a brilliant plan.
