Tying it off is a move or standard action not an immediate action or the like and therefore not something you can do outside of your own turn.

You don't need to see a target to tie off a weave the same way you don't need to see it to keep on concentrating on the weave's effect.
However, you do need to see the effect of the weave to untie it.
If you rule that tying off a weave now requires LoS, she will just concentrate on the effect.

From the Tie off Weave feat description: "To release the weave, you must be able to see it". Not the best wording, but if there was a way to 'un-tie' a weave then it'd come at the end and be spelled out clearer I would have thought, plus from a book perspective it doesn't make sense that you'd be able to tie off a weave that you couldn't see.

@ Battlechaser: Are you sure you want to move to there? It'd not only put you in the middle(ish) of the corridor (so no cover or edges to hide behind), but in full view.

@ Mundayknight: There's still an update or two until it's Ruath's turn, although if things haven't changed too drastically I'll use that as his action and he can still have said his piece even outside of his own turn.

I don't think so (massive damage save is your only chance I think), but if you make a stealth check just in case then we'll have the bases covered.

Just to warn everyone that my labtop imploded on me today and I'm not sure how quickly I'll be able to get it repaired or replaced. Until then I likely won't be able to update any games for the most part, since my files are all on my labtop (including maps and the like).

EDIT - It is sort of in a state of undeath at the moment, which will at least allow me to save my files, but the writing is on the walls so I might drop off without a trace for a time, depending on how quickly I can find a replacement. It's second hand in the first place, so repairing it probably won't be worth it.
