Oh no, definitively not. It got your attention however, and with that I have a question. How cheap would it be if someone were to accidentally get a hold of a teleportation device that took them outside the arena?

Huh, you know, if leaving the arena means being disqualified, Ice Crystal Teleport just became the most powerful spell there is. It's long ranged (880ft range for 12th level caster), requires a Will save (DC 16 + stat mod), and teleports the target anywhere you're familiar with. Basically, Will save or lose. Brutal.

Not quite.

Teleportation would not result in "passing through the barrier." They'd just be teleported onto the other side of it.

Edit: Oh, and there's also this!

Sure, you're paralyzed and can't take physical actions, but that's what psionics are for. 36 hit points is child's play!

EditEdit: Oh, right.

I can't give you the price of an accidental item, but there are plenty of items which simply allow you to teleport.

Have I got the only character who can take that spell anyway?

12th level Summoners can't get it till 13th and nobody else is a full Arcane.

I probably won't, as it happens. It is a good idea, but I want to only use my own ideas.

Very agreeable rules that Muggins comes to terms with in his explanation.

What's great about the will save is that I have a plus 18 to my will and reflex.

I wonder what happens to things that get used up during a match. Like magic arrows or a ring of the ram. Do you restart freshly equipped between bouts? Or is that arrow of slaying gone for good?

Damn and here I thought the t-rex guy was going to be the problem.

I think I'll dip into the monster manual and roll a tarrasque.

I bet MostlyMad will be the biggest threat. Not just because of that swagger, either.

No, I really like the variety. It is much more interesting. JohnStone's evil Cavalier on his T-Rex and your psycho Goblin are exactly the sort of things that make a game fun.

We have been given except for Flying. hmm. and traits and a couple of minor thingsfree reign and if everyone chose the same thing it would get dull, it'd just be comparing die rolls. I'm looking forward to the Halfling Ninja versus the Vampire Cleric for instance.

I kind of regret not picking something more interesting for my character, but the favoured class bonus was really good!

Next time, I'll be a frog man.

Curious as to why you would think that Wittle Rikey would be such a big threat?

Lolz. I just realized my 'Lion King' can summon a stampede of wildebeests. If one of you manages to turn that spell back on me...

Might as well have named him Mufasa.

Scar actually started the stampede. :-)

Lets see cavalier/barbarian archetype. Means going for mounted fury. Which means alot of full attacks by both rider and beast...

wow alot of talk today about my character, I hope i don't disappoint. I will say Khalil is right there will be some Mounted Fury action going on, and technically it's an Allosaurus (but we can call him Rex.)

Muggins doesn't seem to have much faith in mundies so we will see, I might be knocked out in the first round.
