Schniderman,

I am not sure that it will matter but the eagles that I summoned have 2 additional hp than normal eagles (+4 CON from augmented summoning FEAT) and they all have the Diehard FEAT (Summon Good Monster FEAT).

If this leaves any of them alive, let me know. Thanks!

My mistake, I counted the extra HP but didn't realize they had diehard. Eagle 1 is at -4 HP and Eagle 3 is at -5 HP

Feels like we're losing a bit of steam. There's a light at the end of the tunnel though, and the encounter's nearly concluded! Looking forward to seeing some posts.
EDIT: Looking at the actual post dates, I think I spoke too soon about losing steam. It's probably just that my other games are in a lull so it feels less than active. None the less, I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got. Don't feel rushed though.

Perhaps we should make it a rule that during combat, anybody who doesn't act within a week of the DM's post is either NPC'd or takes no actions (according to Schniderman's preference).

That sounds like a reasonable solution going forward with the game, and unless anyone has dire concerns with that modus operandi it'll be how I handle players that miss a post.

How "difficult" is difficult terrain? I'd like to take a 5 ft step forwards to deliver coup de grace as a full-round action. If that's not possible, I'll simply move forwards and attack, since I get sneak attack bonus while it's unconscious anyway.

Difficult terrain prevents 5-foot steps, and the creature is still 20 ft down a pit, so that would prevent a coup. I'm willing to say that combat is basically over though, and you can act out of initiative. If you want to say you wait 18 seconds until the pit dissipates, and then coup the creature, go ahead.
