I watched an “eagles answer the web’s most searched questions” video. The “who’s tougher” question popped up. They seemed to have a mixed response. Apparently playing football is tough, but most of them wouldn’t be comfortable with getting their teeth knocked out.

I’ve been watching a lot of mic’ed up videos and the sounds of the hits in the nfl make me cringe. It’s brutal. On the other hand hockey players have broken ankles during a game and just taped it up and finished playing. Those guys play through some heinous injuries.

Based on injuries per season I’m having to say that footballers (the real kind and not those Nancy ballerinas) hurt themselves playing their sport more often than anyone else.
