@mscheffe1990: Here is the Games Seeking Players area. I suggest checking out the first couple posts within each of the stickied threads, and looking over a couple of game advertisements to see some of the offerings. This will give you examples of how some DMs go about things.

Now, what you actually "need" to do DM is to use the Tools drop down menu (upper right of your page) to Request a Game.

Thanks for helping the new guy out...I'm off to fiddle with my settings and make sure that when I get started that it doesn't grow stale due to real life happenings.

Notification settings can be set for individual threads as well. I tend to use instant notifications for games I'm in and daily for the ones I lurk in.

You can use the Thread Tools near the top of the page to subscribe to threads without having to post in it. (Though following the link will put it at the bottom.)

For lazy lurkers, or those who want to refer people to it quickly here's a direct link to your subscription settings.

Great to know

I'm new and was wondering the pace. I'm cool with it being slow but didn't know how long to wait.

I can't be the only one here that was attracted to the idea of PbP because of the extremely slow pacing. I just don't have the time to do a 4 or 5 hour gaming session anymore, and as a result, have this void in my gaming life that needs a suitable cork. I'm also very out of practice. Playing a slow paced game that I need to check once a day sounds incredibly attractive at this point in my life, and I am really looking forward to getting started. Thanks for the advice!
