I'm fine with giving that a try. As others have pointed out, most of the pressure in this scenario is on the DM.

I would recommend that we players limit our posts to once a week during this time so our DM doesn't get swamped with posts from 12 players.

BTW, I've joined those offering 2 character options.

Anyway. Sounds like we are good with moving on with that hair-brained scheme so let’s do it.. The twelve who have completed already should go here and say hi, start re-posting apps, and whatnot.

I have accepted the 12 players with complete apps at this time. If you were almost finished but hoping for the 16th PM me and we can talk. I might also take another submission up to the day we start doing the story in earnest if one of my accepted players doesn’t arrive.

I told the 12 with complete apps they were welcome in. However, I recognize that I initially said the 16th and it is not that date yet. So, if you would like to post an app you are welcome to.

If one of the people I let in doesn't post you can take their spot. Or, if you are the only app here, I'll probably shoehorn you in. What's one extra at this point. Right? If we get a few more apps (besides yours) before the 16th I may need to actually be a little discerning.

I apologize, this is my first one and I recognize it could have gone a bit smoother.

The effort wasn't enough, for her Mistress refused to even try the ritual. 160 years after that fateful day, Phayebwynn finally had enough and set about finding the circus and her lost...something or other. Whatever it was. Maybe she should write that down somewhere.
