Thank you for the kind welcome. Meeting last night ran way overtime (I blame Rad Onc, it's usually their fault) so thought I'd grab my lunch break to post.

Looking forward to playing with you all and looks like a good character mix! Two teenage girls in the party could get interesting (at least there's no Facebook in Pathfinder ....)

I also like the idea of us 'creating' the area of our character's origin; I can't quite work out yet which bits of the map are 'defined' and which bits 'free to create' but I have some ideas for the river Yar and the Three Cities along her banks as Caityl's 'home region'.

And SMH = "Sydney Morning Herald", my local newspaper, I thought everyone knew that!

Agreed, I like the idea too. I'll write a little bit up about Karath. The only stipulation about its location is that it needs to be somewhere a few kingdoms south of the northern pass.

I forgot, were we allowed two traits, or not?

Tocar isn't the type to use Facebook. She's the type to mock those who use Facebook (much like her mun)

1: I will allow your characters to have up to two traits found in the Pathfinder D20 SRD.
2: Whatever you want to write about your characters homeland feel free to include in the whole 'setting faction people' thread, just try to be aesthetically consistent with my own posts.

For some reason I was under the impression that Tocar was older, in her mid/late twenties. I was mistaken.

But, I have some questions for the cast. How do your characters know one another? Have any of you traveled together before heading north or have you all met for the first time in this voyage north?

Gargleblaster and Aitrus, it might make some sense for your characters to have befriend one of the 'warrior's (Rinjo's monk, Thamewolf's archer, or WildKnight's barbarian) before the coming events seeing as how neither of you have the traditional brawn associated with a mercenary.

Just some suggestions for you to consider.

Nah, Tocar is young. She's from a culture where people are considered adults at a pretty young age, due to the hardships of their lifestyle and the fact that the average age of death is probably 35 8)

For traits, I picked (and added to my sheet), Exile and Birthmark.

Made it home last night after a 16.5 hour flight (that was before adding in a connecting flight). I am feeling pretty rested... but my mind is kind of fuzzy.

I am going to try to push through everything for this game today and tomorrow. I know I am the weak link... but I never claimed to be anything less...

And WK I am making a gesture at the screen. I have it together... crossing the date line jacked me I think... lol. I don't know what happened to be honest. I guess I just didn't understand how the military could have let me have the whole weekend in florida on your dime.

Ok to be honest I got nothing. I have never had anything even remotely similar to this happen to me... I think I am just getting old. 32 is just around the corner!

32's old? Nah! 31 here, and still going strong. Don't take it so hard. We're a patient bunch. After all, we've got a great group here. I've got the feeling that the game is worth waiting a bit longer for.

I just turned 34 in January. Not much of a difference, but enough.
