I'm ready aside from my campaign trait.

Alright, Fool's campaign trait is in order. Caput - I've realized that I'll have to replace that +1 to anyone threatening Koya...I'm not sure if.when you're ever actually going to be in combat with the NPCs. Anyone have any good thoughts which don't completely derail the Friend-of-the-Family concept?

On that note, the more I look at this relationship mechanic, the less sense it makes to me. An odd little note has gone up on the I just love that title, don't you? Placard of Wisdom to that effect, and to say that any interactions you have with NPCs will be rewarded in a more whimsical fashion.

On that note, there is another thread - Also a fun name, and now I'm sad I didn't think of it before, as it could have been better placed. Caravanserai - but it's mostly empty as yet. I was going to put NPCs in the character thread, but this way seems neater.

So we're ready to begin almost as soon as I can deliver your other traits and get a post up, which will probably happen simultaneously, which will probably be tomorrow.

Edit - Finishing up traits and introductory post today, though I realize that little happens over the weekend. I've also been distracted by art-searching more than once, but that's alright. Oh - linguistic post is up in the Placard of Wisdom, and an NPC and Bestiary section will be added to Caravanserai whenever the rest is done, I suppose.

Edit[2] - Argh - so easy to get sidetracked! Without even working on anything else! Argh! Alright, I've had some fun writing up your unique Third Traits. Hope you like them.

For Sayuri : Cast-Iron Will - Few are those who seek the subtle path of Frying Pan mastery. It's a difficult art, composed of many styles, and potentially dangerous...to any number of people, really. You're determined, though, and getting quite good at it. You are proficient with all regional variants of frying pan, and start with a Masterwork Varisian Frying Pan. Add +2 to all Craft (Alchemy) checks made with frying pans. Once per day, as a full-round attack, you may cast True Strike with your frying pan of choice.

For Mihai : Twist of Fate - This phrase takes a literal meaning among Pharasma's followers - when the lady Fate quirks her lips in that inscrutable way, it's hard to say whether she is smiling on you or mocking you. Thrice per day, you may reroll any check, though you must accept the second roll.

For Morgard : Nice Hat - You're just one of those fellows who always looks good in a stylish hat! Take +1 AC for becoming adept at avoiding hat-theft (obviously, this AC only applies with your hat on). When you remove your hat, you receive a +10 bonus to Disguise checks, as nobody seems to recognize you without it.

For Skieyl : Break Dancer - You can shake your fuzzbut with the best of them! Take +2 on all Perform (Dance) checks. Twice per day, you can make a Perform (Dance) check to avoid an attack whcih otherwise would have hit you.

For Reon : Gentleman Adventurer - You're a really great guy, everyone says so! Steadfast and true, a real gentleman! You're so steadfast, in fact, that you will press on under pressures which would debilitate lesser men - you gain Toughness and Endurance. And you're so very true that any candle you light becomes a Candle of Truth until extinguished. You just can't help it.
