Where is all this loot coming from? I feel like I've suddenly missed a huge amount of stuff without being able to find it anywhere?!

Also, continuing on from the last thread-yeah, low HP sucks, but that's the point of an 8 wandering round, you gotta suck at *something*.
Strength is normally a terrible choice, as encumbrance rules put the pain down on low-strength characters without a mount. Dex? Penalties to AC AND reflex saves? Arrow fodder-and that fireball will hit for full damage every time. Con? HP and fort saves. Painful, but I shouldn't be getting hit, and hopefully I'm making the reflex saves. Int? BAHAHA no. -1 skill point per level is a terrible choice 100% of the time. Plus then you have to be the village idiot otherwise you're not "playing your stats right". Wisdom? If I dumped Wis I couldn't cast spells. Yay! Cha? Oh look, no bonus spells and DC's that a chicken could make every time.
So, basically, Con is the only possibly choice for a low stat given the class.

Also, any suggestions on how I can get Berg into the story other than what it states in his background about visiting Oleg?

Maybe you were tracking the bandits who were slaughtering innocent forest creatures and saw us take them down?

I don't think there was anything collected from the bandits themselves (unless I missed it), but here's what we got, worth noting from the last OOC thread:

We need to divy all ^this "loot" up, before we get too far into the game and forget about it. Konstantin and Darian are taking the shields, and I think they should both get the javelins too since they both use those as their ranged weapons of choice (Diab, you want 3 javs? I'll take 2). If I read the last OOC thread correctly, Kadaver grabbed the +1 arrows and one of the hand axes, and I think Lina got a holy longsword out of the deal. Does that all jibe? Everybody should post their needs and wants for everything else. Do we want to just do even-split on the money, or leave it for party-shared "petty cash?" Reads like it's a lot, but it's really just what, 300 gp or so?

Really liking the idea of tying religion to our building scheme. Doing a temple or shrine to Erastil in the middle of The Greenbelt; that's an idea Darian get can behind.

Well if Lina is becoming a Cleric of Erastil I think the bow should go to her then, as it will be her weapon of choice

Huh. I figured that was taking place sometime during the night. But looking back, Solar's post is also in the morning and...eh, confusing timeline is confusing.

Does Dark Wood have the same mechanical qualities as darkwood? As in half weight/reduces armor check penalty, I mean.

A suggested breakdown of who gets what:

- Everyone already has masterwork armor. Let Oleg keep the suit of leather, or just turn it into store credit.
- Darian and Konstantin have taken the +1 mithral light shields.
- Give one of the hand axes to Mathias. Turn the other one into store credit.
- Darian and Konstantin will divvy up the javelins, with one left over in case someone without a bow/martial weapon proficiency wants one.
- Give the longbow to Mathias. Since +1 arrows do not stack with a +1 longbow, turn the arrows into store credit.
- I would say to give the scythe (which is a +1 Ki Focus scythe; you can't have a magic ability on a weapon without the +1 enhancement bonus) to Corinth, except that he's not proficient with scythes. It's also not a monk weapon, so it can't be used to flurry. Maybe make this a different type of weapon, Drama?
- Spears are not particularly useful as weapons. Unless someone wants them, store credit.
- The cure potions should go to PC's without healing powers, the antitoxin should go to Erdrath and someone else without a good Fort save, and the potion of shield of faith should go to one of the melee combatants.
- Money is easily divisible.
