Whoa wait. I think I missed something. Is this a magical bow? Or just a masterwork bow?

I've got a masterwork compound bow built to my strength. Which is, I believe, the best mundane weapon I'm gonna find... Lemme figure out these here weapon stats....

A +1 longbow is magical. You're right, however; unless it's also a composite bow with a +2 or +3 Strength rating, there's no reason for you to use it. Well, I suppose it overcomes DR/magic.

Thats what I mean. I believe it would still be in my best interest to use my current bow. What with damage bonus and all. Its a +2, my strength only recently became +3.

But isn't Lina going to also be going for a composite bow? Or does she have to wait now until we stumble upon one?

Yep I'll take it for now, unless I can get a composite (+3 strength) longbow

Also, I see the current PCs are level 4 correct? Should I start my guy at 3 or bring him up to 4?

Level 4 is the starting level for any of the new characters.
