Would you allow the feat amateur pactmaker to work for the spirit Jacques Gaston? Technically she's the only first level spirit it doesn't apply to because she's starless so I can't choose a constellation for her, but I don't believe that was a conscious omission, starless spirits are generally less restricted on binding. The reason I'm asking is because I was thinking about the possibility of making my character a former gladiator and saying her learned to bind her during that time.

If you don't want to, that's fine I have plenty of other options I can do.

I would allow Amateur Pactmaker to work for Binding with the Jacques Gaston spirit, but that would be the only Spirit you could bind with the Feat.

In fact, I find the Constellation aspect of the Feat a bit confusing since it seems that there is only one 1st level Spirit for each Constellation anyway... Unless it was included in case more 1st level spirits become available with new material? The Feat doesn't allow you to bind any spirits higher than level 1 regardless of effective Binder Level.

Honestly I think the feat was meant to include her and the constellation's spirit but they messed it up. All the other cases where a binder is restricted by a constellation they get starless spirits as well so I think they intended to include that wording and just didn't.

I'm fine with only having her though, she fits my idea well.

You keep saying "her" but Jacques Gaston is definitely a French male name. Is there another indication of this spirit's gender that I missed?

You can always look under the armor and see.

So after a fairly decent deep dive I can confidently say performance combat is a PITA.

Would you allow a Half-elf, racial heritage (kitsune) featpart drow, part human, part kitsune character? (1. Zombie Lord, 2. Mummy Lord, 3. Death Knight). Goal is to have lots of magic as a non-caster (a fighter, specifically (though a Brawler works, too), using the Nine Tailed Scion trait to get Magical Tail feat in place of combat feats, and Drow Nobility/Umbral Scion feat line with regular feats. I can show you the full progression from 1-20)

And do they have to be FROM Strathmoor, or can they just have lived their for the last few years?

Hello, LeoByron! This looks like a great game and I would like to apply with the following character. I have taken some (pretty large) liberties and invented a few things about Lord Demetrius‘ past and physical characteristics. If these details clash with the game‘s canonical lore, I will of course gladly change them. The backstory I presented as a scene to make it more interesting. I describe what happened shortly before the priest tasked with sanctifying the graves of Demetrius‘ slain enemies, along with his acolytes/assistants, discovered that the PCs have risen. The names mentioned are inspired by the name of the overlord and can be easily changed to suit the flavor of the setting. The names of any deities and holy orders are left vague on purpose.

Sergius, the Prodigal Son
right-aligned image

Name: Sergius
Race: (formerly) Human / Undead: 1. Vampire, 2. Necropolitan, 3. Lich
Class: Oracle (Shadow / Curse: Shadowbound)
Intended Role: Face, Healer, Support, Stealth
Alignment: NE (Neutral Evil)
Spheres / Schools: Shadow/Darkness

For my part the application is considered complete. Any comments and suggestions are very welcome. Thank you for considering the character.

That seems reasonable.

You don't have to be from there, but you should have strong ties with city and have lived there for a few years.

I believe that Lady Gwendoline is complete. Although I think I might have written a touch too much in the background

I never thought I would be writing up a high level fighter and be like "I wish I had more feats," especially in a character that also got expert talent progression and doubly especially with feat taxes in play. But I wosh I had more feats. Lol.

Conversely, I never thought I'd be making a character and thinking "do I even need all of these feats? What am I going to use them for?" which leads me to a question:

Am I reading spheres of might (I've never used them before) correctly, to get talent points to buy into the spheres of power I trade my regular feat progression for either access to Proficient or Adept progression of talents?

Not directly sure what you are referencing but if it is a sphere class, you gain feats and talents. Conscripts trades some of the bonus feats for specialized powers they get as described by the class. But if you are taking a non-sphere class and wants sphere talents, than yes you trade out feats for them.

Yeah that's what I'm refering too, or at least going off this. I don't think the kineticist counts as a sphere class, so I'll have to trade out feats for the talents
