When does the adventure start?

I am back from holidays - medieval abbeys are very pretty but lack wifi, so I will get some initial questions in.
My background in weasel training is more a flavour thing than anything but it would be good to know whether gnomes are common enough that if i admit this is my past job it will really stick in memories. Also, what Gods would be worshipped in my homeland - are they universal or racial? Finally, just like ironbeard I am itching to start ![]() |

@ironbeard: I'll get it started soon, work has been a bitch.
@ums: Roll knowledge (INT) for both questions. :P |

Hmm - - I may be better off asking someone else here - but I'll give it a go
Weasel husbandry - is it really odd to these humans with their horses? Dice Roll:
Gnome gods, are they recognised by all sane folks or am I in a world of heretics? Dice Roll:

I am probably pretty close to thinking horses are just mutant weasels with that roll.

Actually, in 2e, when rolling on an attribute you need to roll below your attribute score to succeed. Which means that 1 is a critical success.
You know that in Desea weasels are a rare animal indeed, and claiming to be a trainer of them would definitely stick in their minds. However, their rarity also brings an intimidation factor, as well as allows you to invent traits for them that most would believe. Yolpa's chief diety is Yonpei, goddess of water. You have no idea how the peoples of Desea feel about her, or any other god/goddess, really. In fact, you're having trouble remembering the other two gnome dieties. Oh well. |

I don't suppose the weasels can scout ahead and tell us what's coming.
I see a 2nd ED D&D adventure coming, but I can't make out the details. Low DEX/WIS might indicate bad eyesight. |
